Inexpensive but effective amplifier of sound, great to the EARS !!!

Price dictates quality and for these types of devices, works as well as any, but NOT a hearing AID, only AMPLIFIER of sound.
NOT a hearing aid, ONLY a hearing amplifier meaning garbage in and garbage out. Earbuds a bit uncomfortable, but this is gr8 for TV period.

Great for TV watching
This sound amplification product delivery surprisingly good quality sound. Especially for the price. When my $4000 hearing aids gave up, I gave up also. Although a little bulky, I noticed it is very comfortable after about five minutes. Allows me to watch television at a reasonable volume. Overall I would recommend this product for sound amplification.it takes quite a while to charge, but not really a problem since I only wear it for television watching.

Helps even though it is not a true hearing aid
Bought this for my husband. Can't afford to get a hearing aid. Medicare won't pay for anything on a hearing aid so we thought we would try this. Works better than having nothing. So he said it works better than he thought it would since Medicare will not pay anything at all toward a hearing aid.

Much Too Loud Even at Lowest Setting
The volume is much too high, even when the volume control is at its lowest. I purchased this for my extremely hard-of-hearing 91 year old Mom and she can't wear it because it's so loud. I'm not talking about feedback or background noise or any other kind of noise. Just plain volume. At the very lowest volume setting it is still way too loud. It could wake the dead.I have no idea whether this unit is intended to be so loud, or if this is a matter of quality control (because some reviewers have said it's not loud enough).IAE, I just ordered a different unit from a different manufacturer. We'll see how that works.

This is the best hearing aid/amplifier I have ever used
After 25 years of lying jet fighters my hearing is suspect at least. This is the best hearing aid/amplifier I have ever used. This includes the "nickle-dime" aid provided finally by the VA. And it is recargeable and saves on hearing aid batteries.
