Of all the cat wall furniture I've tested, these have proven the most versatile due to their use of two vertical screw holes, perfect for situations where only a single wall stud is available. For bridging gaps between other platforms, the extra sets I purchased keep coming in useful. The wood is good quality, solid and well-finished to preclude the possibility of splinters or rough edges. I have used other pieces by this manufacturer and these live up to the quality standards I have come to expect. My cats use these horizontal posts as steps and also to stretch and scratch, flaunting their superior sense of balance. I have had some of these for more than 1 year and the jute rope on them has not needed replacement, despite the fact that they do get used for scratching. That's pretty durable. I will probably buy these again when I need more of them.
