Component Hardware (CON30) 300W, 117V, 50 oz Cast Aluminum PTC Evapmatic Condensate Evaporator with 18" Cord Set with Bare Leads, Chrome

I wasn't using it as directed. I was using it for a residential AC unit that the previous owners had cut the condensate line to. It works exactly how it says it does but it will get scale quickly. For my application I found out I was condensating a whole hell of a lot more than I thought.

It looks just like the one I took off and will fit the same mounting bracket that the old one was mounted on and the price is good. So what is wrong? It has instructions with it that say "Evaporators are intended to be used solely as components of other equipment and to be factory installed by original equipment manufacturers to whom they are sold". As simple as it is I am almost afraid to use it. I seen no such instructions on Amazon when I ordered it.

Exact replacement part. Easy installation, great fit and finish. Will buy this again! Much cheaper than other sites.
