4M Easy-to-do Knitting Art Kit (3593), white pink

This was great. A gift for my Granddaughter when she was a youngest. Now in HS. Learned well.1st place blue ribbons on real life projects, at both country and State Fairs 2 years in a row. Hired at 15 at a sewing store. It started by these fun kids boxes.

I purchased for my niece for xmas- thought it would be a cute beginners kit. I am crafty myself - though I do not know how to knit I figured I could learn with her and this would be a cute project for us-NOT. It was not easy at all and the directions are not easy to follow. I sent back and ordered her something else instead.

Great for teaching a young person.

I got this kit to get back into knitting again. It comes with a few different colored yarn which is nice as I don't have to pay extra to get it. The needles are a little short for me but I'm any adult and I'm pretty sure they were meant for children. I've very new to knitting so I had to undo and redo the stitches a few times. This made the yarn fray a little and then made then made it confusing when knitting. I somehow ended up with more stitches than I began with. Probably because I was hooking the loops and the frayed/loose threads separately. But overall, I'm having fun trying out this new hobby. If I do get a hang out of it, I will most likely get the adult version. *lol*PS. The instructions were confusing! I had to look up some YouTube videos to the get basic steps.

Gifted to Ten-year-old niece. She liked it. But, not easy for her to knit!

Something of a lost art except for a few aficionados.

I have a little experience in knitting so I thought if I got this kit to help teach my granddaughter to knit it would be easy. Wrong. The instructions were very lacking.
