Dr Christopher's Lower Bowel Formula Vegetarian 100 Capsules 450 mg (Pack of 2)

I have motility disorder of the intestins, and had a cecal vulvulous where my ascending colon and a portion of my illium were removed. I have a dilated and "sleeping" colon from the resectioning. Although it has improved over the past 11 years, things don't move quite as well as they should.I also have acute esophogeal reflux and a hiatal hernia. I have duodenal ulcers. My intestines needed help. I have tried prescriptions, the famous "tummy fiber", did research on soluble and insoluble fiber. I have tried prebiotics, probiotics and more. Nothing worked as well as this product for my three complaints with bowel products:1. There is no cramping or fast moving intestines stimulated to the point of nausea. I hate this in chemical products.2. There is is no back pressure from insoluble fibers fermenting and making gas the minute it hits your small intestine. I hate this also, because it pushes my stomach up through the hernia, and I am suffering.3. There is no dehydration possibilities with this product. It is not something that forces the system to purge, taking your potassium and hydration with it. This is product feels akin to eating more fruits and veggies than your normal diet and having your intestines pick up a little speed. It is gentle.4. Because it is not a purging type bowel remedy, you won't have a tolerance build up requiring more of it to be effective. You also will develop a consistency rather than the ebb and flow of something like Milk of Magnesia, like my folks would use.I hope this helps. Having a slow bowel where last Friday's dinner is making its last appearance on the following Tuesday can make you feel poisoned and lead to so many other health issues. This really is the best solution I have come across, and it is reasonable when compared to some more harmful products.

When I first started using this stuff about 6-7 months ago I was shocked at the results. Now when I take it - it doesn't seem to have as powerful as an effect - but it still does produce a result. When I first starting taking the LBF I was jaw dropped at how much this formula helped me rid wastes from my colon! Wow! I feel like every batch of Lower Bowel Formula varies in strength - because I have had some batches - that seem to be much stronger than others. Also - certain batches harbor variations in color which makes me wonder if each bottle has a different strength level. All & all - I am constantly recommending this formula to people - because it works, and I believe in it - and Dr Christopher. What an amazing man! Check out some of his old lectures on youtube - you wont be dissapointed. This formula has withstood the test of time - and people are still deriving much benefit from it years after his unfortunate death. For people with serious constipation - and the lower bowel formula doesn't seem to be producing the effects you are desiring - I recommend picking up a couple bottles of Dr Christophers " Quick Colon ". That stuff is strong, yet gentle - and will have you pooping in no time! Great products!!!!! 5 Stars!!!

As someone who is habitually constipated, this has been a wonder. It takes a few weeks to really work it's magic on your system (at least for me), and you do have to be careful to get the right dose. I take two in the morning and two in the evening. I usually will have a movement once a day, or at least every other day. I do have to occasionally change the amount I take due to loose movements, but this is still a godsend for someone who has struggled for years. I also experience light cramping - again something I am willing to live with. I highly recommend this product if you are experiencing constipation.

I had a severe reaction to this product,I was itching all night long ,I took 2 Benadryl,for allergy relief,and blood pressure dropped significantly,I don't advise anyone to get it
