Wow! Great for the Price...
Bought this as a second/backup/mess around phone to replace one I found in a parking lot with a cracked screen. ;-)Got it hooked up with a "freedompop" SIM and "Talkatone" free WiFi calling app for cheap calls.I wasn't really looking for a "ruggedized" phone, but it looked like the nicest "cheap" phone out there ($65 delivered!). BLU's other "high end" rugged phone is almost $300.00!!! but not THAT much better?Definitely a solid build with good gripability around the edges.Speaker IS pretty loud, but not "great" sounding compared to my ZTE AXON7 Mini, kind of tinny and on the back so if you set it down it gets muffled. Sounds great on a good set of bluetooth headphones! The bluetooth has better range than my other phone! (see above) FM Radio is a Plus, saves on data usage and you can listen when out hiking and out of cell tower range. Uses headphone cable as an antenna... Speaking of headphones, the headphone jack stinks, recessed under the protective rubber cover down in a hole, none of MY headphones fit in the jack properly, the included headphones fit great, but aren't too good. (That's why only 4 stars)Dual SIMS AND an SD Card! Usually you only get two SIMs or One SIM and an SD Card. Get a "fast" SD Card and the phone can format it to use as "system memory" in addition to the built in memory... Big help since it only has 1 GB Ram built in.Performance? Meh, a little laggy at first, then I found the "DuraSpeed" settings that let you shut off apps that keep running in the background sucking performance... Much better now! ;-)Camera? Meh again, only 5MP, but nice and sharp and good color, besides how many giant posters do you print?Overall? I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a solid phone without spending big bucks! Kids, hikers, construction folks, outdoors people, klutzes, etc.

You better keep track of those that came with the device ...
It's worth 5 stars except for:1. The USB and audio ports under the rubber cover in the top are surrounded by rubber making the space outside the connector limited, which means that far from all connectors on the market will fit well. You better keep track of those that came with the device since they work best.2. The built in memory of 8GB is just on the limit. After just a day of using apps you will run out of memory. There are many useless apps installed that need to be deleted, but still, you need to install an SD card and configure it as an extension of the build in memory AND move all applications you possibly can to that card, in order for it to work decently. Plus, delete those pesky data files from time to time.3. I seems like the light sensor on the front has a tendency to turn it to sleep when you approach your hand to it, and it is hard to avoid it when putting it down. When I am in the car and put it down to drive hands free while listening to an audio, half the time it goes to sleep.Other than that it is working, I'm new to Android and compared to Blackberry it is not user friendly, but it kind of works, sorta.

I have to give it 4 stars because the camera is horrible, I could take a better pic with a ...
This phone rocks for what it is. It tough! The other day I spilled a beer right on it, full on right on it. Now got get get it cleaned off right, real fast? Well I fumbled the phone and dropped it a few feet. So I in 15 seconds I got it soaked and dropped it. It didn't phase it. I have to give it 4 stars because the camera is horrible, I could take a better pic with a potato. I wanted this phone for working in my shop to take pics of what I'm working on, so I'm disappointed by that. One plus it has for it is the loudest speaker in a phone I have ever found. As far as what it is, low ram and slow processor - so it gets bogged down from time to time - but I got it to work in a hard enivroment and it is not delicate. Im sold on Blu phones - they have a phone for every need and anybody. This is my second Blu.

The usb charging port seems to be this phones only weak point
The USB charging port seems to be this phone's only weak point, I can say that knowing that our son left his on the hood of the car and subsequently ran it over as a result. ( only scratches). he also knocked it off the railing of a second-story balcony and dropped it in a toilet at school. In my husband's case, the phone came out of his belt clip at work and he ran it over with the forklift. ultimately it was the charging port that failed. if it were not for that issue id most likely be buying these for my niece and nephews this Christmas because if they can survive all that they earn the name Tank Xtreme

this is nothing different as the picture quality goes back like 8 years
The phone works but remember the go phones, this is nothing different as the picture quality goes back like 8 years. The screen is ok for dialing but soon as you go browsing it lacks the clarity of a new current phone. If you are used to using an iPhone or Samsung phone dont expect the screen to look as clear. It will def make you under rate this phone due to quality difference on screen but that would be unfair. The fact is this phone functions perfectly if you dont want to use an expensive phone on certain occasions like hiking or travel. For the price im sure you will not be disappointed as you can still manage to use it for general browsing. I did try youtube and it works but like i said the quality of screen is on the go phone level. This is more of a just in case emergency phone or for someone that just needs something GSM unlocked.

Very, very, very slow
I used it on Telus prepaid in Canada, works fine.unit is priced for what it is, an extremely durable, but cheap phone. Works ok, as long as you use basic functions, and don't expect to game or use many apps. For phone it works great, for text it is very slow and frustrating. I used it for about 3 months, and scrapped it as an emergency backup.

SLOW phone!!
Got to be the slowest phone I've ever owned! Apps & functions take forever to load. Must be to do with what others warned about - too little RAM (500MB, I think). I thought 500MB would be enough for me as I'm not one to install too many apps, but 500MB is just not enough it seems to make this phone work smoothly. Yes, you can add an SD card but it's just not the same (not to mention the SD card will rob the slot for the second SIM, which is inexcusable). I had a SKY Pro before this, with dual SIM and SD card slot, same price range & it worked very well. The only good thing about this phone is it's rugged and waterproof. I've dropped it several times and once in the water with no apparent damage .Otherwise, the BLU just makes me BLUE. Don't buy one!

I wouldn't throw this phone in angry fit of rage...
But, so far, so good. Using with the Public Mobile cell service provider. Runs Android, so switching over from my Moto E First Gen was easy. Contacts and Calendar synced no problem.Main camera does a decent job. Not as impressed with the "Selfie" camera. Either way, you won't be taking National Geographic quality photos, but for Facebook this is acceptable. Most chargers won't fit due to the built-in rubber case. The phone comes with its own charger or you can trim the rubber on other chargers.Battery seems to be lasting 24+ hours with 3+ hours of talk time a day, Duolingo practice, and mild Internet usage.Seems like it takes a bit to switch between apps, and videos load slowly online. I have downloaded a few apps and they can be sluggish (Facebook Messenger and Duolingo). Typing is giving some problems - not sure if it is a keyboard setting or because of the screen. Will continue to tinker with settings. If you are looking for an Android phone with calling and texting and Internet capabilities, with the option for either dual SIM or one SIM and expanded storage via SD card (up to 64 GB), this is a decent phone for the price. It's certainly not top of the line, but it does the trick and I am happy with it.For the record, 32 year old lady who didn't want to spend more than 100$ on a new phone. Decent phone for the price :)UPDATE: Aug 3, 2017.Well, I thought this was a great phone. However; it is dropping calls and texts that my provider is showing have gone through. This is problematic as the main reason for having a cell phone is to receive calls and texts. Sending this back to Amazon.Would not recommend!

And the screen is quite crappy. Get the other model with an IPS screen
Runs out of RAM way too often. Storage is way too little. And the screen is quite crappy. Get the other model with an IPS screen.
