This feeder is perfect for the price. The app was fairly easy to download and set up, and easy to modify the feeding schedule or portion size. You can schedule it to feed for up to 6 times a day or you can tell it to dispense if you need to distract your cats. My cats used to fight every night but I set this up to dispense a tiny bit every 3 hours and they stopped fighting. One thing that is pretty confusing is that the portion size goes from 1 to 48, with no indication of the actual amount that is dispensed so you have to do some experimentation to figure out the correct amount.

It lasted 2.5 years then it died. Worked pretty well for the most part.

If it worked it would be great. It’s not the most user friendly thing but the app was nice to help with that… the two weeks it worked. Here we are about 70 days later after purchasing the Wi-Fi automatic feeder and the Wi-Fi feature no longer works and the kibble dispenser is incredibly inconsistent. So basically I now have a $100 useless food bin. I “invested” in this to help my senior cat who is on a feeding schedule with his RX food while we are gone long days at work and for quick weekend trips so my cat was taken care of. But I can’t rely on this at all.Mine disconnected from Wi-Fi after a few weeks of having it but it won’t reset and does not give off the Bluetooth connection anymore. I bought this specific machine for that feature to control it and change the schedule from my phone. Now after having it for 2 months the food dispenses inconsistently. It’s been set in the same schedule and quantity since I got it and sometimes does the normal amount and then other times literally only 2 kibbles will come out. The inconsistency would make me never want to depend on this for when we go out of town it’s just not reliable. If you’re someone who travels a lot I would be very concerned your pet is getting fed.So now you’re thinking maybe it’s just my machine and I got a bad one. Maybe. We’ll never know because everyone I’ve contacted to troubleshoot or replace the product has been useless. Troubleshooting with Amazon a few weeks in they refer you to the manual and resetting button only. Which is not working. Then they said reach out to the seller but not to worry they would take care of me and follow up. Also did not do either. And the seller just sent me the digital version of the manual. Again. No actual troubleshooting help. THE MANUAL ONLY HELPS WITH INITAL MACHINE AND APP SET UP. NOW Amazon is telling me there’s nothing they can do even though they said not to worry they will take care of me (since at this point I’m past 60 days but barely) and I have to recontact the seller for the warranty. So second go around with both Amazon and the Seller and everyone just wants to send you a copy of the manual and not listen to the actual problem or take care of your investment.Long story short there are better feeders out there from better retailers. I will NEVER buy something this pricey off Amazon again since they don’t take care of you when your stupid $100 pet feeder is defective after 60 days and no one wants to help you. Despite having documentation of the issues right away within the “return window” and being told not to worry they would take care of me. But that’s Amazon lately their helpfulness and service is crap and they charge extra for everything when they can. Waste of time and money.

so thrilled i took the chance on this. my 2 cats need to eat the same amount of food every day and are hungry kitties!! so i wanted to get them on a regimented schedule. this feeder is so easy. the setup did not take me long at all, just make sure to read the instructions carefully. i had no problem setting up the app on my phone and connecting to the feeder via bluetooth. the app is so convenient, i love that i can feed them whenever via my phone. it dispenses well also.
