Bandai Hobby MG Unicorn Gundam TITANIUM Finish "Ms Gundam Unicorn Re:0096" Building Kit (1/100 Scale)

The finish is amazing. Some bad nubs that can be touched up with some white paint. Be careful with the knee transform. I snapped a piece of the knee, but was able to glue it back together. The instructions were hard to understand at that point But overall it looks amazing on my shelf

Not bad. Mg unicorns are known to be one of the worst mg kits. The legs are too long but still manageable to look at. Titanum improved on stability compared to the regular mg. Some parts are still very loose so it gets a little difficult to transform into the destroyed mode. But it is one of the best looking gundams to display due to titanum finished. In overall, not the best mg kits, but looks nice due to titanum. If you want a unicorn that is huge and can't get the pg, then this is recommended.

This is a beautiful looking kit, and the twin frame set lets you choose whether you want the psycho frame to be red or green. Something important to remember is that you can only pick one color or the other. Since I already had the MG OVA version that has the red psycho frame, I chose to go with the green one for this kit. I kept the extra red psycho frame pieces in case I needed replacement parts for my other Unicorn Gundam. Well, it’s less green, and more of a blueish green color. It still looks pretty nice, though.When you’re working on this kit, I cannot stress enough that you DO NOT want to try panel lining this kit! If you try to panel line this kit, the color of the piece will rub off! I made this mistake, and in order to fix it, I had to use white paint. So one piece on mine doesn’t have the coating on it. Something else to note is that there are going to be be very noticeable nub marks on this kit. If you’re careful, you can hide them by dabbing them with a drop of white paint. Also, some of the outer frame pieces can be a bit fragile. I accidentally broke one cutting it from the runner, but was able to fix it with a bit of glue. So be careful assembling this kit.The articulation of this kit is exactly the same as the OVA version, but the build is a tiny bit more stable, with less loose parts on the outer frame. Other than that, and the color of the beam saber blades, the titanium finish and option of a green psycho frame are really the only differences between this and the OVA version. So the building process of this kit should hold no surprises if you’ve built the OVA version.Do you have to have this kit? Not necessarily. If you’re a fan of the Unicorn Gundam and you have to have each Unicorn Gundam kit that comes out (like me), then it’s worth the investment. If not, and you’re just looking for a MG Unicorn Gundam for your collection, I would recommend going with the OVA version, as it’s much less expensive and can actually be panel lined. It depends on what you’re looking for.This is a gorgeous looking kit once you have it all put together, and the titanium finish will really make this kit stand out in your collection. If you’re a fan of the Unicorn Gundam, this kit will make a very unique addition to your collection. :)

Great kit. Bought the Banshee and thought I’d buy a regular unicorn because the kit was a great build. The price I got this Titanium Finish Unicorn was well worth it. The only con with this version is the nub marks. Even if you have great nippers the nub gets discolored. It gets very frustrating but some white paint hides it decently well for me.

Just brought a Bandai Hobby MG Unicorn Gundam TITANIUM Finish Ms Gundam Unicorn Re:0096" Building Kit (1/100 Scale), but what came is a HG RX-0 unicorn 03 phenex Silver coating. This could be a decent mistake. But Anyone who sells gundam's for a living will not make this mistake. This is close enough to scam people who do know the difference between a Master grade Gundam and a High Grade Gundam

This is by far the most delicate model that I have ever built, I hope you really like unicorn mode because its a nightmare trying to transform it, the possibility of this model is on the week side as well since the joints tend to be pretty weak

MGならではの見栄えと、パーツ数の多さによる作る楽しさがあります。チタニウムフィニッシュですが、装甲パーツ部分に使用されており、銀メッキの上にホワイトが塗装されています。ディスプレイするとプラモには見えないほど完成度の高い逸品になります。

可動部の当たる所があり、メッキごと削らないと。

以前バンシィチタニウムを購入していたので、並べるならユニコーン1号機チタニウムかなと思っていました。さすがに定価のこの値段設定は、いくらなんでも高すぎる。サイコフレームの片方はゴミになる訳だし、バンダイの売り方には疑問すら感じられます。しかしAmazonのレビューが酷評で綴られたせいか、44%OFFと半額近くの値引きになってたので、今が買い時と思いポチりました。さんざん言われているゲート跡ですが、仕様だと諦めてます。自分を含めてエアーブラシ塗装が出来ない方には、充分な質感の塗装では無いでしょうか。個人的には満足です。この金属に吹き付けたかのような塗装がなんとも言えないくらいイイです。ゲート跡がバンシィと同じ仕様なのに、何故かバンシィは高評価です。バンシィと比較しても完成品自体は同じじゃないかな。なので言うほど悪くないキットだと思います。ゲート跡は神経質な人には受け入れる事はできないと思いますが、一応皆さんと足並み揃えて星3つの評価です。ちなみにバンシィチタニウムも40%OFFで購入できました。でもなんだかんだ40%以上値引きになってるときに在庫数をチェックしてると、文句を言いながらも結構買ってる人がいるのが分かりますね。半額近くの割引になっていたら買い時だと思いますよ。''追記です。''このキットのデカールは普通のマーキングシールで、シールの淵が目立つので逆にカッコ悪くなります。結構高い値段のキットなくせに水転写デカールが付属してないんでしょうかね…。私は別売りのver.ka水転写デカールを貼りました。驚いた事にチタニウムフィニッシュには水転写デカールの相性が良いです。デカールが鮮明に表現され普通のキットよりカッコ良く映えます。しかもデカールの食いつきが良く、剥がれません。逆に注意しなければならないのが、乾いたら修正が難しいので気を付けたほうが良いです。デメリットばかり言われてるキットですが、チタニウムフィニッシュはデカールが1番映えるキットだと新たに発見できたので、このキットを買われた方は是非試して欲しいです。ゲート跡も隠せる箇所もありますよ。

MG ユニコーンガンダム　チタニウムフィニッシュ が約、半額ぐらいで購入出来たの数千円得できました。アマゾンさん有難うございます。ユニコーンガンダムですがデカールが付属してなく小っちゃいシールなので定価が高いだけに少し残念ですね。自分はＭＧユニコーン用のデカールを別で購入しセッターで貼り付けしてみました。ユニコーンの元の塗装だけだと少し物足りないので少し塗装しデカールで随分満足できる品質に近づいたかなと満足しています。ななかなか気に入りましたが、余剰パーツが多すぎです。

このキットはゲート跡に対するタッチアップが必須です。本格的なモデラーさんは、限りなく近いパールでのタッチが可能ですが、ライトモデラーだとホワイトでの処理となりますので、近くで見ると補修の跡が簡単に判ります。しかも、タッチアップの箇所がかなり多いです。10,000円近くの出費でこのクォリティは納得できません。購入して損をしました。
