Almost the quality of old games
Yes, it is a metal case and not wood. Yes, the tiles seem just a bit thinner. Those are the only negatives and they don't even count if you never played on a quality set sold in the 1970's. The tiles have a nice, solid "click" to them and the digits are recessed so the colors will not wear. The tile holders are functional but they are light and easy to tip over if you get careless. Everything fits into the case with room to spare. I did cut up a stick-on felt chair leg protector and added the pieces to each corner of the hinge side of the case so that the hinges would not drag and scratch when the case is set down on a table.

Case is nicer than the tiles
The case is much nicer than the tiles. Too bad. The tiles lack substance. Not enjoyable to play with them . Weird that the case is so much better than it needs to be and the actual game pieces are crappy.

CHEAP and FLIMSY
It’s very unfortunate that you can’t find anything that is sturdy and made with quality. The boards are so flimsy they dont stay up and broke within 1 day. The tiles are thin and cheap. DO NOT waste your money on this.

Tiles great, racks cheap
The racks are made of thin plastic that easily gets knocked over. Spend extra and get the game with wooden racks
