Would have been a 5/5...
The reduction of font size change from page 340 to 341 absolutely annoys me to no end. I'm reading on my galaxy s20+ and it makes a huge difference in the experience because the sentences don't flow as well line by line while enlarged by one point, it has a massive gap between the right edge of the screen and the end of a line, and its uncomfortable to read with the one point reduction (I feel like I'm straining to read it and i have 20/20 visual acuity). Other than that, I absolutely love the book and am excited to read the second. I just pray to god the font issue isn't in the second book as well. To highlight this issue, Mr. Lange, I am currently on page 342 and felt strongly enough about it to write this review mid-journey through this excellent book. Don't let minor errors keep you from greatness, my friend!

A very entertaining cultivation novel with a twist
I really enjoyed this cultivation novel it was a lot of fun and to read and had a lot of exciting adventures and to intrigue as well as an intrepid hero trying to navigate the Waters of racism. I like the way the characters interact with each other each had their own distinct personalities and was interesting learning more about them as time went along. Had some good stats and that made sense to me and I enjoyed seeing how they progressed. Also the story had some good romance in it. The women that are in it were all strong characters some with weaknesses that they had to overcome and I like the way that the romance was different for each girl some was a little quick but it made sense and it had logical progression and the intimacy was interesting especially the double cultivation. Anyway I digress I really enjoyed reading this story and hope to read the second one soon.

A very good
I had to come across this author due to this specific block being on Audible as available for pre-order. Specifically the narrator's for this book are ones that I'm very familiar with and quite enjoy their work. I was reminded of that and noticed that this author has another series called Mana born that is already out. The first book being available as both a book and audio while the second one is currently only available in e-book for. After reading those two I found that I enjoyed this author's work so much that even though the audiobook for this book is only a few weeks away I decided that I couldn't wait. With that said I very much enjoyed this book and am extremely interested in seeing what happens with the story. For the record anybody reading this review I recommend both of the aforementioned series.

Talk about a wild ride!
This is an incredibly well-written book. It seems like from the beginning all the way to the end it's practically non-stop adventure. I appreciate the way that the main character wants to do the best he can and support those around him who he cares about. The entire story the author does a fantastic job of painting a picture as if you were right there watching every single thing as it takes place. I'm looking forward to finishing out this series and seeing how far everything goes. Keep up the great work!

Decent but MC needs to chill
Overall a good book. The premise has been done before but that's not an issue as it doesn't feel stagnant. However, the MC needs to learn to chill."I'm going to keep my head down and just learn and grow" and not even two sentences later "Nope, I'm going to start a fight with people who know more, and have a ton more resources and are LITERALLY WILLING TO KILL ME" and then rinse and repeat.Really hope he grows out of that because that's a dumb MC and I hate those with a passion

Good Read
So, this is really quite an enjoyable read. (4.5/5) Unique world/mechanics, good relationships, nice pacing. The MC is likeable without being too perfect, even if he seems to have a slight justice warrior complex that seems a bit unrealistic. Or perhaps he’s just quixotic.Only real complaint (if you can call it that) is there is never even a superficial explanation of why (or how) the MC and FL are Chosen from Earth. More than that, though, is there is minimal curiosity on their part on why they were chosen. This might be some big reveal meant for later (or I may have missed it), but it remains a Nagging Question™️.
