Great measuring and teaching tool
I kind of like this style of measuring instrument, in place of a tape measure, however, each has its place. What I find this most useful for teaching my 6 year old grandson about fractions and measuring things in both cm and inches. Longer than a standard ruler, we have measured table tops, boxes and so on and he likes the foldable aspect of this device. I have a metal tape measure and it retracts so fast and hard he's afraid it's going to cut his hand.
