Not an audiophile but after 20 years of a stock system I just needed the bass back that I had in my 20s, in my newest vehicle. Ford Maverick doesn't offer ample space for the 12" box I wanted. This space saver seemed perfect.It was the perfect size, the wire kit was surprisingly nicer than I expected. It was a bit punchy at first, expected for it's size and construction, but with some tuning it sounded amazing for what it is.Spent a 1/2 hour listening and loving that night, then went out the next day to tidy up my work. Spent roughly another 1/2 hour listening before getting to work and before I could it died on my in the middle of playing. Checked all my work with a multimeter and all proper power is flowing, it just refuses to turn on.I see others have had problems with longevity and heat, but I didn't even get a chance for it to heat up. I'm older and care about my hearing so I wasn't pushing limits here either. I'm very disappointed because it was awesome for about an hour. I reached out to Recoil US, we'll see how it goes.Based on others reports, once this gets fixed/replaced I'll be buying an assurion warranty and 🤞.Update: The companies USA based support was available via phone and e-mail. They answered me and walked me through trouble shooting. They offered warranty replacement but advised to do an exchange within the 30 day return limit. Nice to know they stand behind it for warranty.The new unit is great. Pretty amazing sound for what it is, pretty nice price.

No es equivalente a uno de cajón pero suena bastante bien, lo único malo que note es que se calienta muy rápido y mucho... No sé si a largo plazo eso afecte, es fácil instalar y tiene buen sonido, iré actualizando conforme pase el tiempoACTUALIZACION: despues de unos 3 meses de uso dejo de funcionar de la nada, prende pero no se escucha, cheque fusibles y todo y se ve bien pero ya no se oye... intente obtener soporte de la empresa o de amazon y es imposible, simplemente no me sale la opcion, mañana la llevare a reparar a ver que me dicen, el calentamiento es excesivo, literal no tengo manos delicadas pero no aguantaba poner la mano por mas de 5 segundos... la destape por mi cuenta y no vi nada quemado o fuera de lugar, si logran repararmela, le hare unas perforaciones para entrada y salida de aire a ver si con eso aguanta y desquita lo que costo, a esta altura si supiera lo que se no la compraba.... salvo que vivas en un lugar con climas suuuper frios estaria bien, de ahi en fuera NOACTUALIZACION 2: Lo destapo un técnico y dijo que falló la fuente de poder, quemó la bocina y algunos componentes, los fusibles nunca hicieron su trabajo y eso que trae 2, la reparación me costaba sobre 1200 y eso que el técnico es muy amigo mío... En otros lados mínimo debe andar sobre 1500 o más... reviso mis conexiones para ver si fue por una mala instalación o a qué se debía la falla y me dijo que todo estaba bien que posiblemente fue producto defectuoso... Yo voy más al calentamiento, desde nuevo se calentaba muchísimo.Actualizcion si venía defectuoso lo repararon pero igual se calienta mucho, compré uno cuadrado y no se calienta... Suena menos pero rellena los bajos bien y no me ha dado lata y me salió más barata

When I saw a 10” amplified sub box with wiring kit and bass knob at this price, I was suspicious but had to try it. Overall, I have to say I’m impressed. For the price of course. I had no delusions that this would perform like the Stealthbox in my over vehicle. But it works just fine to add some strong bump at a low price. And with high level inputs you can add it to virtually any system very easily.If you’re looking for cheap, it’s probably hard to add a 10” sub any cheaper than this. Sounds good too.

I got this for my husband in April, worked fine until the other day when we heard a loud pop and smelt burning. We had to pull over and remove the radio to disconnect the sub/amp. Luckily the radio is still working.

I have a small Ford Ranger with limited space yet my sound system was missing good bass sound. I like this all inclusive sub (amp, remote, aluminum cabinet) that fit behind my drivers seat. Very good, deep bass for its size. Price was very nice! Prime delivery in 1-2 days. I purchased a good value 3 year warranty thru Amazon for peace of mind. I am a true audiophile and I highly recommend this sub.
