Britzgo Digital Hearing Amplifier BHA-902"Smarter" - German Battery & Digital Chip - Metal Blue - Behind-The-Ear Hearing Amplifier

I'm probably a very atypical customer - I've worn hearing aids for over 30 years. My $7k+ Widex hearing aids (not covered by insurance _at all_ mind you) just kept flaking out. The slightest moisture from sweat, and they were non-functional for days while they dried out. One particularly hot day this summer, It was really hot and I was working outside, and the widex went down for the count. I was panicked. I needed hearing aids immediately and my old spares were just not working anymore.I came here and looked for a quick, cheap and temporary fix until I could get to an audiologist and get a new pair of *cough* _real_ hearing aids *cough*. These came in a couple of days, put them in and went WOW! I can hear way better with these than my 7k widex models. I will NEVER use an audiologist again - it just doesn't make sense. (My audiologist drives a 100k Mercedes, now I know why).These are fantastic, and I could literally replace these every couple of months and they would still be cheaper! And I like them better. Seriously, take it from me - not many people have worn so many different types and styles of hearing aids for so long as I have, and I can honestly say these hearing aids rock. I bought the BHA-902 because of the reviews don't be fooled . I was hoping for a wide volume range and didn't get it . The 902 has two modes basically high and low the low works fine but on high it whistles all the time regardless of how it fits or how you adjust it and no it's not an earwax problem. You get a lot of background noise as well . It does fit extremely well you can't tell your wearing it and it seems to be good quality. I also can't find any bretzgo Webb site so when it comes to replacement tubes and ear domes it could be a real problem! You can get a response from britzgo buy email but for me that's not good enough their for it gets two stars . No I won't order again and probably will return! Maybe I'll try walkers game ear or Siemens lotus they seem to be more reputable companies.Since I wrote this review my hearing aid broke it was the battery latch . So I'll give you an update I raised my review to a 4 star rating because the customer service was after all exceptional I contacted amazon who contacted britzgo and they sent me a new hearing aid no questions asked . When I tried to send the other one back they said no need to. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because I want to see how long this one holds up . So all in all yes this is a pretty good hearing aid thanks britzgo for honoring your return policy 100%.

First, there is constant static with this thing. Second, on one of the two settings, it whistles. Third, the volume control is a joke as it does nothing. Fourth, they only send this with medium size tubes. This was way too short for me, a woman, so I don't see how it would fit a man at all. To get the longer or shorter tube, you have to order ten of them from their website for $16.50 plus shipping. Fifth, there is no telephone support. I called and got a man who didn't speak English. I asked if there's was someone else I could speak with, and he said no. This is going back.

It fits in either ear which is convenient for certain times. The ear adapters worked out well since I have very small openings. The price and quality was the best for a first time user of an ear product.

I wear two Britzgos now. For the first year I wore just one it was very helpful but with two I hear SO MUCH BETTER. Before I had the TV loud. Now with two hearing amps I have the TV turned to normal volume. Before my family had to raise their voices when we talked. Now we can have a normal conversation again. I'm so pleased and happy with my hearing amps.

Excellent device for the cost!I had real trouble hearing people in groups, meetings, restaurants, on the phone -- and even one on one if somebody was not facing me. I was saving money for hearing aids, but getting more and more frustrated with having to ask people to repeat what was said. A friend suggested I try this Britzgo hearing amplifier. I was skeptical about whether it would be worth the cost. But, I ended up getting one for Christmas and was amazed to hear people and sounds like I once did. I recently bought another one just like it for my so-called good ear -- and for the time being have frozen my "hearing aid fund."

Shipping was fast. Have had it only two weeks, but so far so good. I have had very expensive hearing aids which have stopped working. I bought this to try instead. I only have 20% hearing in right ear and it works great. I tried it in left ear ( 70%) and it is very loud on lowest volume setting. Won,t get one for good at this point. Will update later after I,ve had it for a while.

have bought a couple of these,works ok till it just stops working usually in a week or two and good luck with customer service they dont answer phones or e-mail......buyer beware save your money total bs company hope this saves someone some wasted cash........
