Alba BotanicaAlba botanica, natural hawaiian shampoo and conditioner, mango, 12-ounce bottle

I received the mango shampoo and conditioner yesterday and tried it today. Wow! First, it took everything I had to NOT drink it. It smells SO good, but not overpowering. Second, I have very sensitive skin and I have no itchy rashes from this. Amazing! My hair feels clean and soft and I am so very happy I found this!

I have thin hair and all the shampoos and conditioners seem to just weigh it down. I saw an advertisement for this brand and thought I'd try it. I always read reviews, so I was a little nervous about the shampoo not lathering or smelling good. I needn't have worried. The shampoo definitely doesn't lather as much as regular shampoo, but it does lather well. My hair felt nice and clean. The scent isn't strong in the bottle, but when you actually put it in your hair, wow! It smells great! The conditioner is good, too. It's really thick and creamy, which worried me because I thought it would weigh my hair down. Nope, it rinsed out really well and left my hair feeling soft, but not heavy. I'll definitely keep buying this brand. It came packaged really well, too.

I am a man with very thick long hair. The conditioner does a great job of leaving my hair feeling healthy and manageable. Which is remarkable considering how thick my hair is. The shampoo, well, it seems to work fine, but for some reason, on my hair, it doesn't foam. No matter how much I use. Does this matter? Probably not. I'm sure my hair is getting clean, and it is doing its job. I just like the feeling of a shampoo foaming. Neither product is over-perfumed, and I really appreciate that. I plan on purchasing a big bottle of the conditioner, but I may pass on the shampoo.

For the last couple of years I have struggled with the hair around my face looking frayed. I thought maybe it was a result from pregnancy hormones. I began taking biotin supplements and using extra conditioner, getting trims more often. Nothing helped, my ends would still look fried within a week of trimming. I don't know anything about sulfates or parabens, or any of the other stuff people say to avoid, but I know this brand has dramatically helped my hair. I have been alternating this formula with the coconut milk formula and my hair looks and feels so healthy. I would not say that it has given my hair extra volume, but it is shiny, brighter, and the ends look freshly trimmed.
