Family Nurse Practitioner Review and Resource Manual, 5th Edition, Volume 2

I did not realize there were two volumes. The second part is just as indepth as the first part. The second part is the one that has all the practice questions. Have not done those yet but will do so very soon!

To the point: This is a guideline book providing 3 case studies after each topic with the correct answers. There are only 110 review questions with rationales. I was expecting more review questions.

I used it for my ANCC test and passed. Excellent study material when used with Leik. Very concise and includes all the information one needs to know to pass. Yes the two volume set is expensive, but worth it.

This book was required by my FNP program. It is a good book, but not many practice questions. I have had other books that I feel like were better and easier to use.

It is lengthy- I lost interest after the first chapter.This particular volume #2 is useless because Volume 1 covers the non-clinical part which is on ANCC exam and of course you can't find that volume on amazon. it is the more popular version.In comparison to Leik and Fitzgerald this comes at #3.Seriously who has time to read this 1000+ pages.Reviews should look like a study guide- not a college textbook. and even that was a better read.I am not pleased at all with the book. Really Really disappointed. A rip off from poor students. I want a refund or exchange for volume #1.
