Holds well on smooth gelcoat and varnished teak.
If you're considering buying these for use your sailboat cabin, go for it! Mine has smooth gelcoat at the porthole level and these work great to hang things there so long as the surface is flat. Also hold to varnished interior teak They remove cleanly so far, but I've only had them for a couple weeks.

I didn't know if these would hold strong enough, but they do! I hang a wooden bath brush, and it's not the lightest bath brush. It's easy to move, and it continues to hold strong. It might require a bit of testing to discover how to get it to hold.

These are great items. The suction on them is amazing. Easy to store away. Hold a lot of weight. Easy and remove from the wall.

I have never had luck with suction cups in my shower before these. They work great and stay in place. I accidently placed one crooked and it was hard to remove which I'm taking as a sign of longevity.

Massive Fail
Disappointed doesn’t describe how much of a failure these are. Bought them for using in the camper, have tried them on every surface, they lose the suction sometimes in as little as three minutes…such a waste of money
