A falta de compararlos con leica o zeis similares, estos prismaticos son espectaculares en nitidez y luminosidad. Al anochecer son muy luminosos.

Highly recommend, as good as some other products that are twice the price.I have now used around 20 times in various light/weather conditions, mainly for birding, they are simply a joy to use.Superb optics and design with a lifetime Vortex guarantee second to none.

Nach dem Ausprobieren verschiedener hochwertiger Nicht-Zeiss-, Nicht-Leica und Nicht-Swarovski-Ferngläser hat mich dieses für die Vogelbeobachtung am meisten überzeugt.Es ist wunderbar leicht.Es ist nachtglastauglich.Es ist sehr gut zu greifen bzw. zu halten (und natürlich wasserdicht).Die optische Leistung überzeugt sehr.Das Fokussierungsrad ist geriffelt und damit sehr griffig, läuft schön leicht, die Übersetzung ist angenehm, aber leider erst bei meinem dritten Exemplar. Vorher lief es zu stramm bzw. schleifte. Aber da tauscht man eben.(Auch bei der Premium-Klasse, man soll es bei deren Preisen nicht für möglich halten, läuft auch nicht immer alles wie geschmiert - siehe gewisse Foren-Beiträge; beim Spektiv kommt man schon schwerer um die Preimiumklasse herum [nutze, gebraucht, ein Swarovski], aber bei einem Fernglas scheint das nicht so unmöglich).Die Garantie ist wesentlich großzügiger als bei den oben erwähnten Premium-Herstellern.Das Eye Relief ist der Art, daß Brillenträger keine (nennenswerte) Einschränkung des Sehfeldes befürchten müssen.Die Augenmuscheln lassen sich in drei Stellungen, gut einrastend, heraus- bzw. hineindrehen, was Brillenträger schätzen werden.Das Fernglas sieht einfach auch sehr schön und hochwertig aus!Es ist, was ausdrücklich draufsteht, „Made in Japan“, was schon mal eine zuverlässigere Fertigungsqualität als „Made in China“ garantieren sollte (meine Erfahrung, z.B. im Vergleich zu einem Hawke-Glas).Geheimtipp besonders für Ornithologen, denen ein Fernglas-Preis um die 2000.- € nicht unbedingt als preiswert erscheint, aber in der Qualität, hinsichtlich Optik wie auch Verarbeitunsqualität, keine (nennenswerten) Abstriche machen möchten.PS:Zum Zeitpunkt der Abfassung der Rezension gibt es hier nur einen US-amerikanischen Anbieter, es gibt aber auch deutsche Händler.Der US-amerikansiche Preis hier ist aber, auch mit den hohen Versandkosten, sehr gut!Und man hat den umfassenden und zuweilen großzügigen Amazon-Schutz.

I'm a wildlife viewer. I used to own the vortex diamondback. Good binoculars but wanted more. So I got the viper. Very glad I did. great glasses. A world apart from the diamondbacks. Definitely worth every cent. I've watched birds, mammals, and enjoyed every moment.But I was just curious what the zeiss conquest had to offer since I've heard good things about the German brand.....well I tried them both side by side for 7 days at dawn, noon, and dusk, in the woods and on the ocean. I really couldn't see a difference that justified the extra 400+ dollars. Maybe a little clearer at dusk ...maybe.The zeiss conquest(8x42) didn't show any mechanical problems with me like most reviewers mentioned about the eyecups, (a little hard to pull up but they extended all the way) focus wheel too smooth (took me 20 minutes to get the finesse for it ) etc. it's a really good pair that worked great.Both binoculars gave me the 100% each had to offer.The reason why I think the viper is better is because it gave me the same visual enjoyment than the conquest did but was almost half the price.I'm not a zeiss hater. I'm not a vortex "fan boy" but people like me will appreciated my honest opinion. No need to spend your hard earned money on something that can give u same thing than something more affordable.Maybe the conquest is more durable, but I'm not planning on driving a truck over them to find out or shooting them like I saw on a YT video. But if I do by mistake. Vortex guaranty will replace them for free.Maybe the vortex razor will be more significantly better than the viper but I'm ok with my vipers. I'll also buy a spotting scope in the future to experience another level of wildlife viewing.
