Now that Apple have finally caved in and started building their devices with USBC connections I bought these adapters so that I could still use the same plugs and wires. Work very well.

It allows connections to a modern charger, but seems not to carry any other connections. I have some legacy devices that worked with my old iPad and use a lightning connector. This adaptor did not handle the data lines so that my newer iPad could connect to the older devices.

Adapter quality amazing! Fits great, portable and compact

At first glance the build quality feels great, but whilst using it 3/5 (I didn't bother with the other 2) of them must've shorted out or not been made properly as they would get extremely hot and not work anymore. Potentially damaging my phone. I'm guessing it's a product where your mileage may vary but If you left this say under your pillow when charging could potentially be a fire hazard, definitely enough heat from it to hurt yourself. And the dam thing didn't even work after shorting out, like woke up with a hot phone and 1% battery.

These are indispensable. I was recently given a new iPad Air for my birthday and noted that Apple had decided again to change the type of charging socket. I have a number of long 'lightning' charging cords, which I did not wish to replace. They are so handy for bedside use. These solve the problem and are well constructed, The lightning plug fits this adaptor with a satisfying firm click and likewise the USB-C end clicks firmly into the iPad. They do not allow data transfer but that is not an issue as you use the Apple supplied cord for that. They are very good value.

Only 3 of 4 work and one of those works only sometimes (need to wiggle in socket). If the description details are understood then they are ok as the do charge devices but only at slow rate of charge pass through. Quality is not great though and no idea if they will last long though would be easy to break as they wobble in socket. As a reminder, charging rate is very slow irrespective of charger used. This means as a rule of thumb when used on an iPad Pro they just allow enough charge to maintain battery level when screen is just on, otherwise idle. When using a power heavy app, then the battery will still drain; it will only gain charge if it is in sleep mode, and of course that is still very slow. I bought knowing restrictions/limitations so not unhappy, only three stars as quality is below expected including having 2 faulty (albeit one does work sometimes). Not worth returning.

Brought a new iPhone but had an old charger station so didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a new one. This adapter is just the job, fits perfectly and charges too

I have purchased a few of these and they are great for charging phones with the old style cables, I have has a couple pack up working after 6 months or so. just order replacements and then return the faulty ones.

Excelente para cuando tienes cables de lighting (iPhone) y queres usarlos para cargar un android Samsung Galaxy S10e y S8, funcionan tal como lo describe. No son para transferir informacion, solo para cargar la bateria, en mi caso de una bateria externa que tiene conexion lighting, ahora puedo cargar mi celular Android sin problemas. Vienen 4 en el paquete, yo lo use en 2 baterias externas y 2 en cargadores de auto.

Very good product

Der Titel sagt es schon: wer eine Reihe von Apple-Produkten mit Lightning-Anschluss hat, alleine schon z.B. verschiedene iPhones, der hat sicher an mehreren Stellen im Haushalt die typischen kleinen USB-Netzadapter mit jeweils einem USB->Lightning-Kabel. Wenn man sich dann z:B. ein neues iPad kauft, aber immer noch seine älteren iPhones behält, dann hat man natürlich keinerlei Lust, die gleiche Aufladestruktur für USB-C zu verdoppeln. Und da kommen die kleinen Adapterchen wie gerufen. Gerade auch als 2-er-Pack. Preisgünstig und funktional. Dass sie keine Datenübertragung machen, das finde ich insofern nicht störend, weil man dafür ja sowieso andere Kabel hat. Ich jedenfalls.
