Is it harder to push than the 8-slice one? I have that one and it's a bit dull now but I still love it

I have the 16 slicer, and I think it is harder to cut than the 8 slicer. There are twice as many blades, so twice as much resistance. I found it hard to push through on my kitchen counter, but it is easier on the kitchen table, which is lower. I can really get my weight into it!

What is the diameter of the central corer?

Oops sorry didn't understand the question. Yes the center circular core/pit remover is exactally one inch in diameter.

How do you sharpen the blades? Ours seems to have worn over time.

Bed apple

Having 16 slices is a game changer. We use this multiple times a day. Makes our apples go so much father. It stays sharp for about a year with consistent use. The handle broke on our last one from trying to cut an apple that was too large
