Works great on 2016 Tundra. Needs couple extra parts...
After getting this installed, it works very well. I didn't get any codes. I also have an exhaust, and it makes the exhaust slightly louder, which is fine. Feels like more hp, but no hard numbers to back up. If you're in the market for an aftermarket intake, I highly recommend this one. That being said, the installation instructions are not real clear on which bolts to use for which brackets. There's another review here that gives some install tips as well, which helped. Here's my addition:- The big one is: the provided coupler is too small. I went to True Value and bought a 1/2" coupler for irrigation systems. It fit snugly with the existing large air tube, and with the provided section of air tubing. Bought three hose clamps as well. This worked very well. If this intake didn't work so well, I'd give it four stars for this; but as it is, the intake is awesome.- Here's the order I recommend, use pictures on instructions as a guide:1. Secure the two pieces of heat shield together with the four small black screws;2. Attached the silver heat foam to the inside of the heat shield and the cone filter shield;3. Attach brackets to respective slots: long bolt, spacer, heat shield, washer, lock washer, locking nut - may be overkill, but it works.- There are four longer bolts. These are for the three brackets. I had several bolts and nuts left over after install. Maybe they provide more for fitment on other vehicles?- The spacers for the bolts go between the brackets and the heat shield.- I was only able to attach two of the bolts to the truck frame through the two lower brackets. I had to take out an existing bolt, put bracket underneath, then reattach. The other bracket attached to an old hole for the OEM intake. I used one of the shorter bolts provided to attach this one.- The upper bracket is supposed to go where the horn is bolted to the frame on the passenger side, but I couldn't get that one on, so I just left it. The two lower brackets held the heat shield in very securely.- I attached the cone filter shield underneath the clamp for the cone filter. It's loosey-goosey, but doesn't seem like it'll do any harm to the filter. I may take the thing off at some point.- The valve cover does not fit level like with the OEM intake. The intake pipe is too big. It's up on the passenger side by an inch or so. I could only get the front snap back into place. It's secure enough, but not sitting flat.

Feb 2021 Update:The intake has performed in OUTSTANDING manner! Still going STRONG!Original review:Even though description states 2012 and up, we installed it in our 2008 Crewmax with no issues.The CAI plugged right into the bay (upon removing the stock intake).Words of advice on your installation:1. Definitely remove the negative from your battery before the installation - it will reset the ECU. It might stall on first attempt to start thereafter - try again and it will fire-up and re-learn. So, someone stating that the light comes on - removing battery negative is a must.2. Installation instructions can be improved as I would suggest these steps rather than the ones found in instruction sheet:a. unplug the negative terminal from the batteryb. assemble the body (with two parts and 4 black mini bolts)c. install the trim around the bodyd. install the brackets (but not tighten them yet) and the filter housinge. proceed with uninstalling factory intakef. install the tubingg. connect tubing to the bodyh. tighten all the components and brackets to the body (including ground)i. install filterj. install engine cover extension and coverk. reconnect negative battery terminal.this way - it is much easier to connect the trim vs. following their steps outlined in instructions.Great product! Th growl is noticeable when stepping on pedal! Will save you 100's compared to other branded products on the market.

BE AWARE you will need either a new hose or a different coupler to connect crankcase hose to air tube. The supplied one does not fit. Mine is for a 2020 Tundra even though description says 2019. Tundras have not changed really in 2020 engine wise so I will not fault the company for fit issues. Once I drive it a few hundred miles I’ll update review. This review is initial thoughts and install.

Wouldn't purchase again if I had to.
Everything arrived fine, looks very nice, installed the system pretty simple, it keeps tripping a code and turns on the check engine light, went over everything again, good and tight, tripped again after having the code erased, few days later light came on again, cleans mass airflow sensor, reset code and came on again, well after 5 times I pulled the junk out and reinstalled the stock intake, had enough, well out that money but learned a lesson, if ya never heard of it dont buy it.

I personally did not apply the strap for the heat shield cover just because I didn't like it, easy installation and definitely have a drastic ...
I purchased this for my 14' Toyota Tundra Crewmax and was very impressed by the quality and how fast it came in despite only having standard shipping available. I personally did not apply the strap for the heat shield cover just because I didn't like it, easy installation and definitely have a drastic change in the get up and go/ throttle response, 5 stars just for the price alone best value for money especially compared to the other brands asking $350 plus for tuning and a filter. Highly recommend.

Waste unfortunately
Funny when I ordered the product and it's stated will work for my 2019 Toyota Tundra 5.7 l. I have one on my 2016 Toyota Tacoma AF Dynamic intake.. no problem. I installed the AF Dynamic intake on my Tundra no problem to install but been having nothing but check engine light keep coming on and disabling my cruise control function since that is part of Toyotas check engine light deal. I contacted AF Dynamics they told me to disconnect the battery for 24 hours and should resolve the problem with the ECU that worked only temporarily keep having MAF sensor code tripping my check engine. This will not work on 2019 Toyota Tundra waste of my money do not recommend for this specific vehicle and AF Dynamics has no more remedies for the problem.
