Works like crazy!I got it today and I tore it out the box and put it to work. Basically no assembly required just get the handle on there, no tools needed. I would use a wrench to get the wand tight on the water gun. When you fill it with oil, DO NOT put the entire 20oz bottle of oil in it, start with half the bottle and move up. I think mine took about 14oz.I did use it today in a worst-case scenario kind of thing. The fuel I put in it is 6 months old and it was 100 degrees F out when I had it running ontop of that it was sitting in the sun the entire time. Even with those factors it started up first try each time. I ran it for a about an hour with no problems with about 6 stop/starts in between (washing cars). Do make sure when you plug your water hose to it that the water flowing is cold; if your hose sits in the sun the water inside it will be hot so flush that out before putting it to the pump.I would recommend you pickup some quick disconnect fittings for the pump. A garden hose quick disconnect and a 3/8" high-pressure quick disconnect for the high pressure output line on the pump. Makes getting everything started so much faster and easier and you don't risk ruining the threads on your pump and hoses. The pic is of my quick disconnects. The machine itself is also not very loud. I mean it is in no way quiet but you can talk to someone right over it without shouting. I asked my neighbor if they heard me power washing and she said she didn't know I had one so I guess it's pretty quiet. I would say a little quieter than a pushmower. All in all I am so happy I decided to get it. It is extremely well built, the price is great and it runs perfectly; I am excited to use it for the years ahead!

Generac Model 6922 Household Pressure Washer: Very Suitable For Moderate Home and Yard Applications
Pros: UPS Deliverable, 65 lbs shipping weight. Easy to tote up and down stairs for cleaning wooden decks. Engine and Frame Made in USA, Pump is made overseas. Engine has a larger displacement compared to competitive models. There is ample power for all applications. There is a fuel shut off valve, if used correctly and turned off and allowed to run and purge fuel from the carburator and fuel line, weeks later, the next use only requires one or two pulls. This model is very appropriate for most home and yard applications. The Generac may be one of THE BEST CHOICES for a household duty pressure washer.Cons: If you are planning to wash a second story wall and soffit prior to painting or require significantly greater washing capacity, plan to spend 2 to 4 times the $280.00 cost of this model for a commercial grade pressure washer and even more for a heated water unit.Generac should consider adding a foot peg on the right side of the frame to secure the washer when pull starting. This is a light weight unit and you need to hold the washer in place while pulling the starter rope.Summary:I gave this model 4 stars not for lack of quality or performance.Understand that the model 6922 is a household grade pressure washer, it's not meant to strip paint or wash at distances greater than 5 feet. If your cleaning applications are appropriate for this washer, $280.00 for the 6922 is a great buy.

Love It But Add The Deck Washer Assembly And Dont Accept a Non Factory Sealed Box!
Now I have to say my first attempt was not good, amazon sent me a reboxxed in two amazon boxes and totally loose unit that was smashed to a pulp, then I of course sent it back and received one in an actual factory sealed Generac box and it was packed well and had only a minor shipping crack in the top of the air box.As for the unitPros:PowerfulGood Pump Assembly although seems bare minimumThe Engine starts on the first pull every time, I must be super at engines but from day one this thing has started on the first pull!Good Soap FunctionGreat on sidingGreat on Mud on SXS and ATVExcellent with the 15in Deck Attachment (you must look at it even tho 15" sounds small it makes deck/concrete cleaning super fast!Cons:Cheap Hose HangerHate The Tip HolderExhaust Can Burn Hose If Not Careful!I have had no problems out of this unit it looks sturdy and feels the same. I can see where user error can be a problem, but with anything that can happen. I believe in removing the gas at end of season and put in stabil and store it in basement. I would not hesitate to buy another great Generac product as I have a 17KW Genset and a 7KW Genset and both are great noisy but very powerful also!I am not a paid reviewer or influenced in any way, I am a True User!

Does a good job when used according to certain guidelines
First, looking at a picture won't help you - look at the one in the ads. When I can get it started this pressure washer does a great job. It is not very easy to start though. It's necessary to place the foot on the machine and then pull the starter rope hard. I learned the hard way that to keep it working it is necessary to: 1) Add stabilizer to the gas can before filling the tank, 2} Even then, keep the gas only the amount of time stated by the manufacturer of the stabilizer, 3) Turn the gas supply off and run the gas out of the carburetor after each use, or at the end of each day's use. 4) Follow all the other recommendations in the manual, including changing the oils at recommended intervals. I have never had to do all that so religiously with say a Honda lawn mower (I did change the oil), even though it is recommended. With this machine it is the only way you will be able to start it the next time you use it without taking it to a repair shop that knows what to do - that is rebuild the carburetor or replace it. I started it in Spring 2018 after sitting for about 3 months, but than after another 3 months it absolutely wouldn't start. It's very sensitive to the state of the gas and how it's maintained. Even when well maintained it's hard to start. And the manual could be much better written.

Value for money, good performance
I normally don't put 5 star reviews on products very easily, however this machine has impressed me. The price, quick shipping, performance, ease of use and initial assembly all contributed to my positive experience with this pressure washer. I have used it for about 3 hours so far, three times, not extensively yet but I can tell by the performance that it's a high quality machine for the price. Follow the instructions, use a proper clean full flowing water supply, bleeding the pump properly before starting, once in use don't press the trigger on and off needlessly or more often than necessary to save wear and tear on the unloader valve, don't run it for long without the pump flowing to prevent overload and overheating during bypass, change oil every season, and circulate antifreeze in pump before winter. Follow these simple guidelines and the machine will perform as intended. Very powerful with green and red tip, good for most household chores, enough high pressure hose supplied, and engine runs relatively cool ( 240F - 285F at head, typical for air flow engines). I do however recommend using a heavier grade oil. High quality motorcycle oil 10w40 works best for small air cooled hard working engines, even in cooler ambient temps, straight 30w is not enough viscosity for internal splash type lubricated engines,(but good for 5 hr break in proceedure) I use 10w40 in all my other small engines including my small 2.6 outboard, generator, lawn mowers, kids mini bikes ect. As anything else, take of it and it will last a long time, my last high pressure machine gave me almost 10 years of service, I expect no different from this Generac.

Awesome Machine, Great Price!
I needed a replacement pressure washer for my business (small engine repair) as I use this for washing the grass off of mower decks.I didn't need too much power, but this 2500psi pressure washer was affordable and had more than enough power to blast a piece of wood in half with the jet nozzle! This engine is based on a Honda design, and is incredible to use, starts first pull and always runs great.I recommend changing the oil after the 1st 5hrs of use, as it says to do that in the manual.

Updated review. BAD
Nice machine, very powerful. Disappointed that the detergent tank was not included the way they said it would. Looks like others got cheated too.Update: After 30 minutes of use I have had to replace the defective chinese carb (huayi) at my own expense as there was not support. Very disappointed; knew I should have bought a brand name product.

People with no experience give poor reviews.
Don't listen to these poor reviewers, this thing works! Peels anything I point the wand at! Starts 1st to second pull every time. Pressure washer or power washer u decide! No detergent tank? Seriously buy the snow foamer for 34$ extra and forget about the detergent tank for another 100$ on upper model. This thing is legit! I would assume the poor reviewers don't have any idea about pressure washers and how to use them. For this price I'm very pleased!
