Broke one after about a year.
I had one break after about a year. The black bumper tore off of the metal. I didn't see it happen, but apparently it happened while loading or unloading my conga, which I strap upright into the back seat of my truck (that's where I found the torn-off bumper). Maybe there was a sideways force while rotating the conga into place? Too bad a package of protectors doesn't come with one or two extra.
