Really nice kit
Really nice kit, I bought it about a year ago and keep it in my camping bag for emergencies. I bought a separate one for my daughter to practice with and all the products in the kit are of great quality. They all work like advertise and it will fit into any emergency or camping backpack. I would suggest getting 2 so you can get familiar with using them and one to keep for emergencies.

Small kit for backpack
This is a small kit for a backpack or car, has most of what you'd need, we added some things. Not fabulous quality, but good. Bought for a scout getting preparedness supplies for long hikes. We added a signaling mirror, space blanket, rain poncho, paracord and a mini first aid kit.

It works!
My 13 year old son took this into the woods to test it out. 1st he stumbled upon a black bear. After a struggle he managed to choke it with the saw. He then used the knife to fillet it and the fire starter to cook a few meals. He also used its pelt for warmth. When his journey was over he returned with no arm. Apparently he used the saw to amputate. He'd seen it in a movie I guess? Then he used the fire starter to cauterize. And good thing for the compass! He was a little delirious hiking back home. Not sure he would have made it!

Pretty much worth the price
Not something to travel to the Alaskan wilderness for 100 days with, but good for keeping in your urban vehicle "just in case". Everything seems to work properly and would be helpful for dozens of hours in a survival situation.
