Iron Crush Olympic Cast Iron Weight Plates

They are nice. We have expensive plates o. The gym floor and these fit in. I like the finish and the weight tolerance is good. They weigh about 44.8lbs which is good for a cast iron generic plate.

They are heavy

Like these because they are thin enough so that as you get stronger you can fit a lot of plates on the bar. We have tried many different options but thicker plates just take up too much space on the bar and when storing. Sometimes the enamel can chip on these but we are very hard on equipment and not g you wouldn’t expect with normal wear and tear.

Poor quality is a common thing now. These weights are ok. They appear to look like the older high quality plates you would see at a gym. Upon closer inspection the plates have some chips in them and are not totally smooth. They work fine for me on an Olympic barbell, but I would be careful using them for alternative exercises where you hold the plate on your body

These will make you 20% stronger than bumper plates. Train like your forefathers.

So, the only issue I had with this is was the delivery. The person may have got fed of carrying this out of the delivery vehicle and carried it a few feet to my driveway then left it there. Luckily I live in a small town where people know each other during that time so I received my package. Other than that, I am happy to put it on a bar, pick it up, and put it back down. Functions as a weighted plate you can use at a local gym.
