I have a name plate that is carved in driftwood that I have had a spinner on for years. The last spinner was falling apart after 10 years, so I needed a new one. I ordered this one to replace it. Here is what I found:1. Even after all these years, it is still made the same, but with a slightly different color organization. There is still a weighted ball at the end that does have a connector on it to continue the line if you wish. Hard to tell yet how well the spinners on it will last, but they are larger than previous ones I have had.2. They had a tag attached to the material via the little nylon and hook end that manufacturers use. Taking the unit out of the bag, the tag caught and pulled. In previous models, the nylon parted. In this unit it tore a small hole in the material! Not a good sign!!I am happy with the looks of it, but I am waiting to see how well it stands up to weather. I never bring these in, so we will see how well it lasts. The last one made it 10 years, we will see how this one goes.

Got this to attach to our camper awning and it was perfect. Mostly wanted it to tell how windy it was or not but now just love it as its pretty. It stayed uncurled with the provided weight at the bottom so not sure why some of the other reviewers had problems with it. Would recommend.

We bought two for our garage front walls.Within two weeks. the plastic cord popped through the edging.Very sad.

The part that makes it spin broke after a year. And it gets pretty dirty. You need to take it down or keep it four or five feet away from windows during a storm, or the bottom black plastic bead could hit and break them.Other than that it was great.

I have lots of wind chimes and wind catchers.....I just love them. This one is definitely one of my favorites. I love how it spins up and down with just a gentle breeze . It's a good size and the rainbow colors are pleasing. I think I'll buy another for when this one fades or rips. Great price....I totally recommend it

This sucker is long when extended vertically, so make sure you can hang it high enough to spin without touching anything. Nice, vivid colors have lasted in the summer months, though mine spins under my awning, so no direct sunlight should help keep these colors bright and durability id helped. Can't tell you how it might hold up in open sun. Spindle spins OK, especially with a shot of silicone occasionally. Loses one star since it needs a decent breeze to spin it, though too much and she dances spastically more than spins smoothly. Makes an OK gift.

Very well made and seems extremely durable. So will need a little stronger breeze to really make it spin faster. But I rather have something a little heavier that is going to last all the weather conditions. Than something so light that will the faintest breeze will spin but be ruined by the first gust. This is built to last. Will be ordering more.

The 48 inch spinner is definitely nice. Also purchased the 24- inch and the 48 -inch spinner is the winner. Good buy
