Alienware AW15R3-7338SLV-PUS 15.6" Gaming Laptop (7th Generation Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, 256SSD + TB HDD, Silver) VR Ready with NVIDIA GTX 1060

I love this laptop for machine learning, especially deep learning models!However, the fresh rate is only 60Hz, and the battery is only lasting around 2 hours.So I wonder whether it is possible to replace the original 68Wh 15.2V 4-core battery with a new 99Wh 11.4V 6-core battery?

If you want a review of the Alienware AW15R3 keyboard, this review will be for you. I'll just say one of the primary reasons I bought this laptop was the keyboard. I know that's crazy. But, I write a LOT. I type 80-90 words per minute, and have grown to despise chiclet style keyboards that have become so common in modern day laptops. So, I've been in a long search for a fast computer with a keyboard that's NOT chiclet style. I seriously considered buying an MSI GT80 Titan solely because it has a full-sized mechanical keyboard. I opted for this Alienware rig though, because the MSI has two MASSIVE power supplies that completely make it ineffective as a laptop.While I absolutely love every other aspect of my AW15R3, the keyboard falls short for me. The keys aren't chiclet keys, so that's definitely a plus. They're wide and flat though, and pretty heavy. Putting my hands on the home keys isn't completely intuitive because there's not much dish to them. I'm holding out hope that I'll get used to it with time (I've owned it about three months now). In the meantime, I'll continue my quest to own a laptop that has a keyboard that's as close to a full-size mechanical keyboard (minus the keypad) as I can find. I'm into gaming as well as typing, so I'm searching for that perfect harmony of power, speed, portability (just not massive) and a great keyboard. In the meantime, I'll use and enjoy this laptop for a few years.

On a fully-charged battery my laptop will last AT MOST 1.5 hours before it dies. It is wildly unreliable and performs unbelievably slow for the price. If I could refund one purchase in my life this would that purchase. I understand laptops age over time, but within about less than a year this laptop wouldn't even run some of the simplest games at medium settings without hitting major lag or the game crashing all-together. Please look into other laptops to buy if you're even considering this one. This laptop should be priced at $400 and not a cent more.... Disappointed.

There are some different answered related to battery capacity. I am confused.The battery capacity for 7338SLV is 68Wh, which lasts about 2 hours on each charge without gaming. a bad battery lift.I have requested a return and placed a new one "7003SLV", it comes from 99Wh and GTX1070.

Wow!!! I must say. This laptop is amazing how fast it is, I can run any game I want , the lights are amazing, the laptop design I love it. I just recommend this laptop to any person who wants the two worlds merged, gaming and work.

My son loves this. He barely ever puts it down.

Definitely durable and powerful, but the battery it comes with sucks, even on power saving mode.
