For being one tenth the price of my mom's Big brand name sealer I'm very impressed with this gadget! I got the bags off of Amazon and I'm vacuum sealing cheese blocks, fresh veggies and cooking sous vide it comes in handy! If you eat cheese this will pay for itself in months on how much you will save from moldy cheese! Very simple to use with the smart feature...

I purchased this because it’s just my fiancé and I living at home; so it’s pretty hard to get your moneys worth out of your food before it goes bad. I try to buy everything in bulk to save money but instead of freezing a 3 pound chub I can portion out my beef for the week or even the month. It compacts so much creating the perfect little sleeve of product :)! I can save money and feed my fiancé and I way easier.

I purchased this product back in March and it stopped working this past weekend. I use it every weekend, so I was disappointed when it stopped working. It would suck out the air, but not all the way and then it wouldn't seal. I expected it to last longer than 5 months, so I contacted the seller and they are making it right and sending me a new one. I purchased it based on the price and reviews, so I might have just gotten a dud. I'm very pleased that they are willing to do so because the vacuum sealer works great.

I was so excited about receiving this. I researched all the types and this one had the features I wanted and with prime day, was in the price range I was looking for. It had a higher thanost in the price point PK so should have had at very least sufficient suction. It says 8-10 seconds for amount of time to complete suction and sealing process. This sealer just runs and runs, and doesn't ever get to the sealing. I did get it to seal manually after about 30 seconds of suctioning, but there was still tons of air in the bag.I had separately bought rolls to make bags, so I borrowed my mom's 20 year old sealer and tried that. My mom's performed the way this one claimed to, and the difference was huge. I read all instructions, and am confident the problem was not user error. Just in case I used many bags up trying it, but the results were the same. Minimal suction, continual running, no sealing. In addition, it kept having an issue with powering on or the power stopping while running. After a bit I noticed that the plug was so loose where it connects to the machine that it would simply fall out or loosen so much it would fail to deliver power to the unit.Now I have to drive an hour round trip to ship this back and return it (I live in a rural area making returns very inconvenient), and prime day is over so I can't buy a different model that might actually work at a price similar to what I paid for this. I got it at about 60% off on prime day, so now it will cost me about 60% more to purchase a comparable model now that prime day is over.I went through the trouble shooting guide and after following all suggestions it just says machine broken. The machine looks nice, but feels cheaply made, especially when pressing the buttons. The more I attempted to use this machine, the worse the disappointment became. Please learn from my disappointment and choose a different sealer. This one is NOT it.

I have only had this a month but I must say, so far it has been fantastic! So easy to use - with arthritic fingers I find some with different openings are hard to use. It took a couple of goes at the beginning, but once I had the hang of it, an absolute breeze. Works really well with a sous-vide as it takes both pre-made and rolls of bags. I have now rearranged my freezer, have a great range of dinners for my sous-vide, and saved tons of space. All around, so far excellent! Just keep an eye on the drip tray and clean it after every use.
