DIVEVOLK Seatouch 4 Max Plus Underwater Touchscreen housing compatiable for iPhone 12/13/14/15/16Pro Max Black

I am a huge fan of the DiveVolk product and the company behind it. The housing unit for your phone is reliable, convenient and easy to use, and provides an absolute sense in security of keeping your cell phone safe. As a Dive Professional, and diving everyday, this was the smartest choice for me. There is nothing like ending a dive and being able to airdrop your students all of their photos in under a minute. Additionally the setup of the housing unit is nice and quick and simple, where as an instructor I know I wouldn’t have time on the boat to use the other various phone housing brands. The touch screen underwater is phenomenal, nothing like being able to type “they are nudi branch eggs” when divers have no idea what you are pointing at and you can’t come up with a signal. Another part I really like about using the DiveVolk is the accessibility to continue to add attachments for the more serious underwater photographers. The night videography quality with the cell phone too really really makes a difference. I’m really glad I chose this product a bit over a year ago, after diving nearly daily, it was definitely the best investment in comparison to a new GoPro or an actual camera underwater. I’m still happy with this decision.

Works really well and camera feels “secure” from flooding - and I’ve flooded a few cameras in the past. Using the gel touch “screen” takes a little getting used to and not super sensitive (altho I left the protective screen on my phone and they say to take it off to improve touch). Great being able to use common phone functions. Definitely look up the phone settings before using - especially assistive touch on and auto bright & lock off.

Case worked as advertised. No leaks!! There were others in my group that did not fair as well with a different case. Picture quality was better than expected through the glass part of the case. The selfie camera was not as good. Of course you are shooting through the soft plastic membrane for the selfies, so a decrease in picture quality is to be expected. I followed the directions and setup my phone with the assistive touch. That allowed me to get to my Home Screen. You can not and should not swipe on the soft membrane. The assistive touch allowed me to get to the Home Screen and use the full function of the phone. I was able to use the three different camera magnifications and switch between video and photo of the iPhone 13. The case is sturdy and seems well built. My case took a small beating while in cage viewing sharks. I tried to protect the case, however, water was rough and we bounced around a bit. The case held up to the small beating. I feared loosing my phone and case so I took that in consideration when looking at this case. The strap that came with the case is made from paracord and securely fastened to my wrist. The strap was also comfortable to wear. My iPhone 13 fit in the adaptor nicely. The way how this case appears to be designed, I may be able to use the case on other phones by ordering a new adaptor. This case could potentially be used in the future as I upgrade my phone. This case was more expensive than other cases. However, I believe it to be worth it for its build quality and capability to use all the functions of the phone. It is still much less expensive than a dedicated case for a DSLR. Bottom line, I would definitely recommend this case.

This housing has completely changed the way I capture underwater moments. It’s incredibly easy to use, and the touchscreen functionality means I can use my phone just like normal—no special app required. I’ve taken it down to 130 feet with zero issues, and it’s held up perfectly. Super solid construction and reliable performance. I actually use this setup more than anything else now because it’s just so convenient—photos go straight to my phone and are ready to share. I highly recommend getting the filters too—they make a big difference in color correction. All around, a fantastic purchase for anyone who loves diving and wants hassle-free underwater photography.

Over all I had fun using this case. I bought 2 Seatouch 4 Max units for a two week Turks & Caicos snorkeling trip. I have 2 Samsung Galaxy Note 9s. Apparently the Note 9 wasn't in their list of phones for case adapters..maybe that will change in the future? The service reps were pretty responsive when I emailed them for the needed 3D printed adapters for both units. But it did take about a week or more to get the adapters (comes from China so that's understandable). Btw, the seatouch 4 cases come by default with an iPhone adapter which for me seemed like a waste of material and expense. I think they should allow for the choice of phone adapter during the purchase process with a full comprehensive phone list. The case has a soft touch screen made of a vinyl feeling material that contains a proprietary conductive gel. With a dry finger it's takes practice to swipe properly. Near the screen edges swiping is tricky. Finger pressing is as expected with some resistance and occasional misses. Once under water the salt water provides a slick surface for a better swipe experience. Be careful about using finger nails to be accurate since you can easily leave marks in the soft vinyl surface. After a week I noticed permanent marks a round the spot on the screen where my shutter button is. Anyway pressing buttons is a little resistant but manageable. Also be careful while inserting the phone adapter into your phone. It will likely create light scuffing marks where it contacts the inside of the vinyl. If the scuffing occurs around the selfie camera lens area you might get fuzzy selfie photos. Also, as long as you are careful to keep the moisture out of your case before you snorkel or dive, fog or condensation can be avoided. Otherwise it may cause issues with focus and clarity of your photos and videos. I only had minor issues with this and it's preventable. With the Note 9 I had no issues finding a way to unlock and put it to sleep to save power between longer swim locations. As you can guess, once you are in the water, you won't want to open up the case for obvious reasons so make sure you can do what you want to do before going under. Overall, these cases held up well. The silicone seal at the end of the case held up well and it came with a spare seal. The closing/sealing screws on the door are strong so be careful as you could over tighten and find it a bit difficult to loosen them. I never used the little foam inserts provided but I suspect it would have helped a little with the minor movements of the phone...which never really bothered me. The wrist straps were great. Very sturdy and perfect length. At times there were issues with visibility of the buttons or focus points on the screen while in darker locations in the water and while aiming on dark scenery. Eventually I found it more useful to use the press'n'hold camera button to shoot video. I also finally found good reasons for dialing up to the highest resolution. Again, I was pretty happy with the functionality. It was a bit bulky and heavy but it has good quality of material with a combination of hard plastic, metal and glass. Never had any issues the the feel of the grip although it might be non-ideal for a lefty depending on your phone. The touch screen material is vulnerable so take good care to protect in and out of the water. Look into the protective accessories. Given how it performed I would definitely recommend this product over the cheaper plastic options when it comes to diving. It's arguably overkill for snorkeling but the application is the same with the exception of the water pressures and available light. If you're like me where the phone runs above 700 bucks or more it's a no brainer in price for protecting your investment. It also doesn't hurt that it's a pretty cool looking case...almost like Batman tech.

I love this. My underwater photos come out crisp and clear. This case is amazing and easy to use. I can control my phone with the touchscreen underwater.

This review is long overdue, but the product is worth praising - extremely happy with it. We used one for iPhone and one for Samsung Galaxy and for both it worked flawlessly. Very convenient to hold and to operate. Expected it to be bulky, but the size was never a problem. We tried it at the 86 ft depth and there was no deviation in functionality. Quality of pictures and video was great; pictures were much better than those taken with GoPro. Customer service is top notch. They're always answering questions and quickly shipped a Samsung adapter separately because it wasn't available through Amazon. We did have one small bubble appear in the membrane, but it dissipated quickly and didn't affect performance at all. The next step is to try it with an expansion clamp with the filters.

During the first trip I used this case to dive with, it leaked on the third dive. It is virtually brand new. My iphone was submerged inside the case filled with sea water. The case was closed properly and tightly screwed shut. Luckily my iphone is hydrophobic and survived the soaking, or my trip would’ve been difficult without it to pay and travel… I can’t return it because it was purchased for me as a gift too long prior to the trip. Not a total loss but I lost a full dive at Raja Ampat and had a good think regarding using your cell phone under water in a remote area where you can’t buy another phone. Do not trust this case if you rely on your phone to travel, pay or other important uses.

If you travel often, or do anything in the water I recommend this case! It was packaged so well & securely for travel, it has multiple phone holding inserts (if you are someone who changes phones regularly or more than one phone uses). And was so secure. I was shopping for water proof phone cases it landed on this one from YouTube and Amazon reviews - due to the fact that it can be used for many sizes of phones). I got so many great photos - and the case does not impact photo quality at all (the case is on for the picture on the beach of the pigs and everything is still crisp and clean!). I took so many great underwater videos too; sound seemed clear but obviously a little muffled when underwater). Not a drop of water came into it during my whole week of adventures. This case is a little more expensive but if you look at it as an investment I would definitely order this over some of the cheaper cases with mixed reviews.

Es una maravilla de housing! Sumamente práctico, seguro y sencillo de usar! Vamos por partes: La calidad de las fotografías depende de tu habilidad y la calidad de la cámara de tu teléfono y éstas han mejorado muchísimo! Sin llegar a niveles de una cámara profesional, para la gran mayoría de los buzos, es más que suficiente. La comodidad del housing divevolk por su tamaño y la facilidad para usarlo, es verdaderamente una maravilla. La principal ventaja del housing divevolk es su membrana touch que te permite usar tu teléfono sin necesidad de interfaces que pudieran limitar la capacidad del mismo, eso es: puedes hacer con tu teléfono absolutamente todo lo que que tú modelo te permita hacer en superficie! Yo aún estoy experimentando si tomar fotos en raw o ya procesadas, si en modo Pro fijando la velocidad de obturador o dejando que la cámara decida, en todos los casos, la curva de aprendizaje es corta porque es el teléfono/cámara que uso cotidianamente! El saber que puedo cambiar de celular y con solo mandar imprimir en 3D el nuevo adaptador, puedo seguir usando el housing, es otra gran ventaja! Por otro lado, la membrana touch funciona muy bien pero no es como si no pusieras nada frente a tu pantalla, imagina que le colocas una protección a tu pantalla extra gruesa, es normal esperar que la sensibilidad baje, es casi imposible activar el teléfono con la huella dactilar. En lo personal inicié cambiando a patrón y funciona bien pero lo más sencillo fue desbloquear con un nip. Con la membrana, el pulsar es muy fácil y el desplazar no tanto (sobre todo desde los bordes), eso se acentúa ligeramente a profundidad. Considerando que es más fácil pulsar que desplazar, hay que reconfigurar y reacostumbtarse a usar alguna formas del teléfono como el desbloqueo, activar la cámara, desactivarla o apagar la pantalla. Nada muy dramático y eso facilita el uso bajo el agua. Finalmente, yo hoy uso un celular de gama media, pero con este housing y por mi pasión por el buceo, empiezo a considerar mi futuro celular en función de la cámara! Se me pasaba! Es fundamental que incluyan el adaptador/soporte para el filtro, los que han tomado fotografía subacuática, sabran por qué, el mismo soporte se puede usar para una luz externa o para fijar el housing en una charola. También recomiendo mucho adquirir su caja para proteger el housing. Buceen seguros!

Produit conforme à mes attentes. Testé dans un premier temps en snorkeling avant de passer à la plongée sous-marine. J'ai une imprimante 3D, donc j'ai pu imprimer l'adaptateur pour mon Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Ça fonctionne très bien si l'on suit la logique d'utilisation. Passez les paramètres de votre téléphone en mode assistance, car le GEL qui permet de contrôler l'écran n'est pas fait pour faire glisser le doigt, ce qui est logique. C'est un coup de main à prendre, mais c'est juste parfait pour utiliser à 100% le téléphone. Juste une remarque : étant donné les différences de température entre l'intérieur du caisson et la mer, et si comme moi vous vivez en climat tropical, la chaleur du téléphone (et nous pouvons le couper sous l'eau) provoque de la buée. Donc, des absorbeurs d'humidité très fins peuvent être un plus si vous ne mettez pas l'écran en veille.

昔ダイビングにiPhoneをよくある簡易な防水ケースに入れて動画を取ろうと持ち込もうとした際に「iPhoneが水圧に耐えられないかもしれない」と忠告をいただき断念、のちにまたダイビングに行く予定ができてiPhone用の潜水ケースを探して回って検討し、こちらの商品を購入することに決めました。 商品説明には iPhone15 Pro Max に対応しているか否かの記載はなかったようですが、他世代の機種と寸法を比較して使えそうだったので購入に踏み切ったところ、こちらにも対応していたようです。 届いてすぐに湯を張った風呂場で紙濡れテスト→iPhoneをケースに格納してタッチ・スワイプ・スリープのON・OFFなどの基本操作や動画の撮影及び水濡れなどの問題がないことが確認できたので実地で使用することに決めました。水中のiPhoneを操作して動画を見てみたりして遊んだり、水中でだんだんと電波が届かなくなる様子が見れたりと普段使いとは違う挙動が見ることができて面白いです。 ※商品説明にもありますが、フィルムを貼ったスマホケースを格納する際はフィルムを取り除いてからでないと内部で引っかかって取り出せなくなり、ケース・スマホともども使用できなくなってしまうので注意です。 きたる主目的のダイビング中の動画撮影で使用したロケーションは1月の沖縄慶良間でのボートエントリー ファンダイビングだったので水深は10m前後といったところでしょうか。 結果としてはとても満足のいく動画撮影ができました。 衝撃のかかるであろうボートエントリーから本格的に水圧のかかるダイビングコースの水深まで潜っても全く異常なく、水から上がるまで途切れることなく撮影できました。 値段はかなり高かったですが、自分のiPhoneでダイビング中の様子を撮影したかった私にとってはとても満足のいく買い物となりました(*'꒳`*)
