We built a new house last year, and I purchased all LED bulbs for the entire house on Amazon.Hubby likes the "Edison" type bulb, so bought those for the light fixtures where you can see the bulb. However, the Edison bulb was too large for the glass 'cups' for one of the bathroom fixtures, so purchased these. These tiny bulbs throw off just as much light as the larger ones, and fit into some of the smallest fixtures. We ordered the 4000K "Natural Light", and the color of the light is just perfect.

Beware that these are much taller than the halogen bulbs your are replacing. Color temperature matches pretty much the halogen, color rendering index (CRI) is ok ( much better than others). Dimming works very well- but keep in mind that the color temperature stays the same (not like in a halogen bulb where it gets lower/ warmer when you dim it, I.e. the light is golden and than reddish.

These bulbs shine very bright and use way less power than the normal halogens. Will buy again.

I have 5 pendant lights in my kitchen that have previously used halogen bulbs. These LED lights look great, are dimmable, and run much, much cooler than the halogen. I had tried LED's several years ago, before they had really become so popular, and the old style LED's didn't do too well. But these have excellent warm color, great color rendering, and are plenty bright. They also do not flicker! I love them!

I just installed the bulbs with a LED compatible dimmer and the bulbs are working fine.
