Works as intended, unfortunately if you have many games, you have to make sure they're compatible with external storage, but that is not a problem of the product. It is very portable and registers easily. Gaming is made easy as it stores your saves without lag or delay.

It's a Game Drive that can work on Xbox, PC and PlayStation. I'm currently using for my PS5 that's shown in the picture. The drive itself is very light weight. I would make sure you give it plenty of space by your game console. The cord it comes with is a Micro USB 3.0 and it is a good wire but it is short. Transfer speed is great and it is fast. Downloading the games from the Internet took me the whole day just to put on the drive but I was ok with that because I did have a big list of games that I wanted to put on this drive. Do note that this only works for only Xbox One / PS4 games only, don't expect PS5 or Series X games to go on here. It does feel very reliable, it does heat a bit when downloading or running games but it's not to the level of Overheating. It is very easy to use and the connection is very fast. You are using USB 3.0 with the next gen feature on it to make it run fast. I have not experience any data losses on it so it seems very promising. Overall I would recommend picking this one up and it is very promising. It does come with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for one month so that is a nice bonus. Always make sure to register your product to Seagate to get that warranty if something does go wrong. Anyways that's it, it's a decent Game drive.

I bought three 2 TB for XBox Series X. Perfect plug and play. Plugged it in, turned on the XBox, checked System/Storage and the additional storage was available (it's an actual 1.8 TB usable space). I changed a couple of settings so I would be prompted to "Let XBox decide".

Let me start by saying this is an excellent device and if you're a gamer or have more than one person using the Xbox, it's an actual requirement.Pros - Easy to use (plug and play), lots of space, very fast, necessary for Xbox Series optimized games.Con - Only one con. PRICE! Even though the price has dropped, it's still far more expensive than it needs to be, especially when you consider that the PS5 has ones that are double this capacity and faster for the same price or this size for far less. (the caveat with the PS5 is that you have to open the case and screw it in whereas this one is literally just plug it in, but hardly worth the extra price). As games get larger, game pass gets even more games and the push for digital over physical media continues, you can't help but feel gouged by the price on this one. The new prices are much better but far from perfect and after this amount of time, it's hard to justify that it's not cheaper to create these and that should be passed to the consumer.

Portable so you can take it with you on the go and plug into other S/X consoles :) Sure; it's pricy (but what isnt now days that is quality made...) Just buy it and be happy! :)
