i love this thing. i put in on my 87 mr2 because the vent on hood is right above air filter and solved issue and made it look really nice, love it

Wanted to buy this for my g35, seems to retain lots of heat under the hood and wanted to shield my filter from the engine a little better. Easy to put on brackets, but takes a minutes to make it fit just right on the filter itself. Decent product for the money.

Stainless mounting brackets still had protective plastic on them when they were riveted to the stainless filter guard. However, the guard was not protected after blueing proccess and was scratched up upon delivery. Probably from sitting on the shelves unprotected. Go with the Carbon fiber guard.

The most important thing I'd say is that you need to attach this to the clamp and filter before you put them in the car. It will make things SO MUCH LESS FRUSTRATING. Also, the product doesn't come pre-bent very much, so you kind of have to bend it to fit the curve of the filter. Overall, it works though. It was a tight fit and if you don't have enough clearance in your engine bay, it will not fit.

I bought this for my Honda accord 1.5T and I don't know if this is the reason I don't have a engine light but at least I know it's at least kinda helping scoop up air and block the heat for $20. Light weight aluminum and fits easy and fine.

Terrible. Completely false advertising. The pictures show a chrome shield, but what I received is a blueish gray piece. It arrived scratched up and looks like it was already used. I am returning it and requesting a refund.

Worked as expected I have a vented hood so water pours on my filter and this completely protects it from any water and also is a good looking add-on to the bay

Fake carbon fiber design on metal. Filter mounts have like 1000 bolts and nuts to be screwed on.

I used to protect hot air from the radiator fan that was going into the high performance open air filter, did the job.
