Spalding NBA Neverflat Indoor/Outdoor Basketball

Go ahead and spend the few extra coins on this ball. We were buying a new ball almost monthly for my son prior to this purchase. He plays outside on asphalt daily in the Arizona heat. The other balls we purchased would go flat after a few weeks and would not stay inflated. This ball has been used in the same conditions since May and has not needed to be inflated once. It is a great quality basketball and will save money in the end.

I really like this ball. In my view it performs well...good bounce, good grip, and it maintains air pressure. If I lost or punctured it, I'd buy another one. I have 5 basketballs (3 are Neverflat's) and play 1-4 times per week (indoor and outdoor). That said, this one is my favorite.

We get these for our dog, she loves to chase it. Good exercise. And she can't destroy it right away. Eventually she does bite it and it does go flat. But if it was used as intended, basketball, it probably wouldn't go flat, as advertised - but I haven't actually tested it in that manner.

My Dad had a Spalding from the generation of balls prior to neverflat, and... it went flat, so he's been playing with a ball filled with fix-a-flat ever since. I myself am on my 3rd neverflat. The first, about 8 years old, has been legendary and has only needed air once, despite it being used to the point that its basically worn bare and surviving a variety of temperature changes and abuse. The dog got to #2, and #3, which is identical to this version almost feels like it is glued to my hand, even after several uses outdoors. I bought a new ball to replace my Dad's clunker and he was amazed by the sticky surface.

It's what you expect from a spalding basketball. It's a very good ball indoor and outdoor. I always use it outdoors and it works great. I've been using it for about 3 months now but the only complaint is water absorption. If your going to play after it has rained the ball will absorb the water making it heavier(just a day or 2 will dry the ball). It says on the box that it will last a year and it probably will because the air hold is blocked. Definitely should buy.

I was looking for a basketball in order to hit the court in my off time. I did some research and the reviews for this ball was great. I did the test by dropping the ball from above your head to test the pressure it should bounce to about your shoulders. Every person varies some people like the ball to bounce to their waist so all you have to do is drop it from your shoulders. You will just have to figure out what you like the best. Now I'm waiting to see if it holds up for a year before it loses air.

Looked at many balls. This one had the most positive comments / features. Arrived quickly as usual. Looks and feels great. Time will tell if you don't have to add any air to the ball in the first year. I am using it on a concrete court. Reportedly holds up well with the wear and tear.

This ball came somewhat flat. It didn't bounce very well. After mulling over whether to send it back or void the warranty, I decided to pull the plug and inflate it to the proper PSI. So, warranty voided. After I aired it up, I easily re-inserted the plug. It bounces well and is my kids' favorite basketball. The problem lies that it isn't as advertized. It was inadequate out of the box and I had to void the warranty to make it right. Good ball. Never flat?
