It worked for me. Honestly, it did.
I used this both internally and externally. It was easy to apply and the cream is a consistency that comes out of the tube easily. The nozzle had no hard edge and cleaning the nozzle was also easy. I'd recommend wearing medical gloves to apply it with fingers but if you don't have any the cream residue washes off okay.As for the efficacy of the product, I found a reduction in both swelling and irritation in the affected area after just one application. repeated applications gave similar results.I didn't get any undue sensations such as burning or pain, but I was using a pea sized amount of the cream externally and playing cautious to begin with, I would say to anyone thinking of using a product like this to not go crazy first application. Everybody is different though, what works for one may not work for another. So try a very small amount in one area before really going for a full treatment of you sensitive area.Based on my experience, I'm going to switch to Recuren from other brands that are better known. I found this cream much more comfortable in use and the results of just a couple of days use are gratifying. The appearance of the cream packaging are also not screaming what kind of product it is, so I feel more confident leaving it in the medicine cabinet. (There's really no need for a product of this kind to shout about where it's used in the brand name eh?)I have honestly felt a true sense of relief after finding and using this cream. in more ways than one. but it genuinely started working after one application and that's what you need, not waiting for results after a week of use.It isn't entirely comfortable to use as there's a wet feeling during use, but that's just the nature of A: the area it's used, and B: the type of product this is.It's worth the slight discomfort to get results, I think. And by discomfort I really mean it feels a bit like you've just done a heavy workout. There also isn't really any nasty aroma with this product. you aren't going to be constantly reminded that you've used it as you go about your day.So it's mostly pros from me with one minor con about the wet feeling during use, and it is a minor con. I'm okay with using this cream again if I need to.

Honestly...Absolutely amazing.
Hi all, I think this is the first review I've ever left on here, but thought all things considered this might help somebody else.Just before Christmas I ended up in excruciating pain with what I thought may have been an internal roid giving me some jip. Over Christmas I could hardly sit down properly, going to the loo would genuinely almost make me sick, I'd be on the deck within 30 seconds and almost in tears.I'd used Anusol and Germaloids, nothing was working (to be fair the 4 way Anusol is half decent, but towards the end I used it in conjunction with this).I checked the reviews, and took a punt on this stuff. It's amazing. Truly. Now, it works really quick and feels like washing your nuts with that Tea Tree oil shower gel, bit tingly, but it will take a while to sort everything out properly. After a few weeks of pain at the loo I went to the docs and he reckoned I had a fissure - beautiful...I got another tube of this (used three since Christmas), he said keep using what seemed to work and as of last weekend (25/1) no pain, no nothing.I have changed my diet and I NAIL water and in a funny way I'm glad this happened because it's made me healthier, I take fibre supplements too.I'm rambling a bit, but this stuff did really work for me. After the pain, the relief and being back to normal feels incredible. I would listen to what people say about diet etc, it really helps. When you're going through it it genuinely feels like it will never end - but for me, thankfully, it has.Anyone out there suffering, give this a go, see if it helps.

Helped but side effects caused me to stop
Initially I liked this cream, was impressed and planned to recommend, but unfortunately it affected my blood pressure and I had to discontinue.Having had circa 2 years of increasingly bad flare ups and waiting for a flexi sig investigation I have tried all the self help I could plus a couple of things from GP and was desperate to try anything to help reduce the pain. I liked that it was herbal and may cause less irritation than the steroid based creams.Shortly after applying the sensation is not that dissimilar to having used Source mint shower gel, this lasts for about an hour. It was the nicest cream I have used for application and made things better rather than worse once the initial sensation died down, I was very much singing its praises.I think my body had had enough of Anusol, Germloids etc and I was starting to think it may be a fissure not haemorrhoids so thought I'd try a cream that helped both. I wasn't certain if stopping the other creams or starting this one was more beneficial but it did seem to help more than doing nothing/just using coconut oil.As it was helping and didn't have an adverse reaction after 48 sensitivity test then, first couple of doses I decided to try an application after bowel movement when I get the most pain, this was unfortunately a mistake and caused me some rather unpleasant blood pressure related symptoms, BP too low on sitting up, too high laying down, I ended up in a rather odd V shaped position wedged between wall and bedframe while it settled back down. I have Postual Hypotension, which is managed to a degree with midodrine and knew that unfortunately this cream was not for me as appears to have caused symptomatic changes to BP such as light headed, woozy, disoriented, difficulty thinking coherently to the point I almost needed to call 111 until I found a position to stabilise it until the cream wore off (I removed what was left on my skin so didn't absorb any more). This is likely not an issue for most people and the guidance only mentioned high blood pressure so wanted to add a review for anyone else with Postual(Orthostatic) Hypotension to be mindful that it may also impact them.I may at a later date try again on a lower dose of once a day if I get a bad flare up but i certainly can't tolerate the full dose mentioned, there is also differing advice saying 1-2 times a day and 2-3 times a day on this listing (as of 17/03/22). It may be the 2-3 times is incorrect and should only be 1-2 and that needs updating.I have since been diagnosed with fissure and given GTN cream but too early to tell if this will have similar side effects, be less tolerable or as I'm hoping improve things
