Really good overall. More like 4.5 stars (and I personally prefer the Agave Reserva)
Agave and a hint of mint on the nose with just a slight whiff of banana, something almost "chemical" about the smell that is just the tiniest bit off-putting, like dish soap seem to come through on Lyre's Agave Blanco. Not that alcohol itself doesn't have it's own "chemical" nose, mind you, so this is not necessarily something off-putting. Neat it is quite similar but less off putting as the odd chemical smell tones down a lot and adding in a peppery burn. Interestingly different from Ritual burn, most similar to an alcohol burn in a way in that it doesn't just occur in the mouth or back of the throat but warms down the throat as well in a nice way. Very surprising, that. There is a hint of tartness and definitely something more biting about it that is reminiscent of a harsher, blanco tequila. This may be more reminiscent of an alcoholic spirit I've yet encountered in one of these alternatives. In a margarita this one seems to lose some of the agave but it still comes through, and that nice warmth is still there. Very interesting and very usable for what it's meant to replicate. Heck, I wish that warmth were present in more of Lyre's products!

Absolutely atrocious
I had high hopes for this. I love a good margarita and the thought of being able to drink three or four with no ill effects? Delightful. After it arrived I mixed up two batches of margaritas and my spouse and I had a blind taste test. We both instantly recognized the imposter and after a few sips elected to pour it down the drain. The initial taste isn't awful but the finishing notes are more like turpentine.Sorry I wasted the money on it. Hopefully I can prevent someone else from doing the same.

Great substitute
Tasty but, perfect if you have guests over for real margaritas. Best I’ve tried yet. Again this no no alcohol

Many uses
Bought for a gift for my daughter who no longer drinks alcohol. She loved to include this as part of her mock tail creations

Alcohol aftertaste
I did not like the taste but husband didn’t mind it. Impressed on how it tasted like alcohol

Terrible taste and expensive! Ingredients are horrible
Who can drink this stuff?

Alight prune taste
Not sure if they used prunes or an odd flavor of peppermint in this but it is not a welcome flavor.

Great taste that adds authenticity to my mock-a-ritas!
This AF tequila is one of the best I've tried. I like the depth it adds to my virgin 'ritas. I've made original and pomegranate versions that were both a hit.
