Q: How do you open the boat?

First, you can lift off the top of the boat (the blue part) and then open the sides of the boat to unfold it.

Q: How tall are the people figures?

The figures bend and sit but when laid out straight they are about 2" tall.

Q: Does anyone know the dimensions of the pink plane? Can't find it anywhere on the description.

It is a good size. Some small pieces. I Gave this to my granddaughter who is 3 1/ 2 and she liked it. Little people inside plane and other things.
