The Seasons and Me: A Story About Body Rhythms for Kids age 3-8 (Connect with Nature)

Instructive and Beautifully Illustrated
I can't wait until this children's series comes out in physical form - they are just dynamite, rich with connection to nature, full of sweet illustrations that drew me in, and celebratory of our humanity and body rhythms. There are cool facts in each book and activities to anchor them or tie the kids to nature. This particular book is the third in the series and honors the changing of the seasons and how we can best navigate them. Each season is held in high regard. I just love these books and will be giving a set to my 3-year-old twin nieces to develop their sense of belonging to not just their immediate family but to the world around them.

Important and Fun Topic
This book offers children (and grown-ups) a valuable lesson on living in tune with natural rhythms and our own body rhythms. This is the foundation that can help children understand how to honor themselves so they don't get caught up in the go, go, go swirl of life. Its okay to rest. Its okay to reflect. This is how we sustain ourselves and grow. The entire series is amazing. It is fun and accessible to children. My daughters (6 & 8) enjoyed the book very much. It started some great conversations we may not have had otherwise.

Wonderful series!
This is not my first book by this author and I will continue to get more. Each one is fun and educational. Children will enjoy the information, the story and the illustrations. One of my favorite drawings is the top of a mountain that looks like a wolf. The information in the back is a wonderful bonus.A very nice book indeed. Highly recommended!

KIDS WILL READ THIS OVER AND OVER
Actually, this is a little science book that has fantastic colorful illustrations. The little ones won't even know their brains are soaking-in how the seasons flow, and how their bodies connect with earth's plan. There is also about ten pages at the end with lots of fun things to do and to learn.

Season's made easy to understand
Another great little book in the series by Suzanne Mathis McQueen. This one makes very clear, with excellent illustrations, the relationships between the 4 seasons, what children can expect, and how to have fun during each of the seasons.

Fantastic!
As the third book in the series this is a wonderful addition. Does a great job of describing how our body's energy levels change with the flow of the seasons. I've already purchased two complete sets for holidays gifts for our nieces and nephews.

Packed full of digestible information about the 4 seasons
This book is beautifully illustrated and it deals with quite complex information simply.I would say that the age range is closer to 5-8-year olds than 3-8-year olds because of the language (some very grown-up words!) and concepts covered. On the other hand, it can be reread as the children grow older and can appreciate the more complex information especially at the back of the book.
