This is very pretty and exactly what my mom wanted for Christmas. It hasn’t changed or anything with the different weather we’ve had. Not sure if it actually works.

I put the bottle near the window where it can get the light during daytime. At the beginning there is almost no crystal in the liquid because it was clear day. However it starts to gather crystals near the bottom the seond night. And the third day our city starts to rain.I checked info, the crystal is most likely sensitive to temperature change. Perhaps that is the reason it gets crystal. But I still like the behavior. Just treat it like a micro chemical system and it brings tranquility.

Cute and fun to watch, but not a true measure of weather, though very attractive on my coffee table, and guests love it.

Bought as a gift my sister loved it

Bought a small storm glass for my daughter and she loved it. The crystals that form when it’s cold look incredible. I highly recommend this buy.

I bought this as a gift my husband and I had planned a full day of outdoor activities on July 3, 2022, starting with goat yoga, spending our afternoon picnicking and stone skipping, and capping it off with an evening of competitive duck herding (it’s a thing- look it up) for our first anniversary. Low and behold, as Mother Nature would would have it, kind of last minute if you ask me, our plans changed because we were supposed to be enjoying a lovely day outside but it was going to storm. I had written a whole poem that would make even Shakespeare cry about how my husband and I could weather any storm together but I sure wish I could have a fancy globe like that one to see when he was gonna be in one of his moods. You see, my husband is a very intelligent man but my goodness is he ADD- he has a tough time relaxing after stressful work days. But don’t worry about us, we are doing great. Go to therapy and church together. Anywho- this thing has not done anything since I he pulled it out and read my sweet, sweet verses. Do not recommend buying this product based on my personal experience.

This item was a gift for my father. It was quick to arrive and securely packaged. It's a great display piece. I bought it when there was still snow here and enjoyed seeing the crystals appear in the water before gifting it. My father loved it and enjoyed reading about how they were used.
