Best exterior screws available
I bought this to use on a deck and another exterior outdoor project. I can't say how they will last out in the rain and sun but they look like they will be good as any other exterior screw. They are rated for treated lumber too which as lot of screws are not. They drive well even for a 4" screw. I did do a starter pilot hole with my drill but it was smaller than I would usually use for other screw diameters. The star heads are much better than Phillip drive screws. Good price too.

Good point allows them to start pretty easily. Haven't had one break yet.

Screwing around
I used these quality screws for decking and fencing. They are sturdy and the heads don't easily strip out (use the included drill driver bit). They are self-drilling and sit nice and flush with the surface of the wood. The color matches nicely with the wood I used (cedar). Don't screw around. Get these screws!Big Rudy

Pretty sturdy, decent quality
These are easy to drive and the heads don't strip if you use the driver that comes in the package. A few of them wobbled a little bit when I was driving them in, so they might not have been perfectly straight.

Torx wood screw is great for decks or any lumber related projects. Price is pretty good as well.

The star head can handle the torque of a drill driver and they are sturdy. I use them when screws are needed for my projects.

White Oak - No Predrill
Bought these to construct a small retaining wall out of rough sawn white oak. White oak is notoriously hard, and was worried that these might not be up to the challenge.Drove these all the way into white oak without pre-drilling using an impact driver and a good bit. No cam-out, the screw went in easily. No broken screws, no stripped heads. If they can handle 3 inches of white oak, they can handle anything.
