Recently Comcast updated for free my cable connection speed, what's why I should replace my old router (only 100 Mbps WAN connection). This router is a really good alternative: easy to setup and use, and I got a full speed connection with Xfinity!

The connectivity range of this modem did not fully satisfy my expectations, but I believe it is not a bad product overall. It possesses a sturdy build capable of supporting multiple devices. Despite the limited range, it offers reliable performance within its coverage area. The setup process was straightforward, and the modem's features and functionality are commendable. Considering its ability to handle multiple devices efficiently, I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

I couldn't get any of my devices to connect!!?The router password on back is so small, I could barely read it! And I wear bifocals!!?I didn't like that it was shipped in factory box, showing what was inside.This is holiday season, and it could've been "Lost", at the post office. Not Cool!

Worked well for about 2 months. Tried to set up again and the quick setup was asking for the up address and 2 other numbers. Never run into that before. Not worth the cheap price.

As a wired router, excellent.... As a WiFI antenna for general use (general web surfing, downloading files, cell phone needs like phone calls), very good.... The dual band feature allows for connecting older devices that can't make use of 5G (older computer, for instance), so that's good..... Computers with old operating systems, not a problem.... Computers with new operating systems, no issues. Compatibility with cable box wasn't a problem -- even when I changed out the cable box after I'd setup the router.Now for the not so good.... The initial setup was tricky.... Connecting a computer to it via ethernet was the only option that worked for me and even that one didn't take the first 3 times I tried it. Takes some patience, but it does eventually work.... Once it does work, the setup is pretty simple. There are more advanced, complex options as well.... The signal strength/coverage is very good --- no issues whatsoever in my multi-story brick home with solid maple doors; even get a signal in the 1/2 in-ground concrete basement even with a full level of the house in between the antenna and said basement.Now for the deal-breaker for many.... This router's latency on video streaming sites is very bad. If you do that kind of stuff regularly and expect to do so using WiFi, this router isn't for you. If you're a gamer (which I'm not) I suspect you'll run afoul of the same latency issues over WiFi.... The hard wire ethernet option works great --- especially if you use Cat8 cables all around.Given when my specific needs are for this router, it's a keeper. I use it as a hard wired ethernet router for my main computer and a WiFi antenna for general phone needs and light internet connecting with an older computer. If I needed WiFi for my main computer for every online connectivity, this router wouldn't work for me.... If I did a lot of video chatting stuff, this router would be out the door....To sum up, as a tech. support specialist, I wouldn't recommend this router to my clients or anyone who'd rely heavily on robust WiFi capability.

I installed this for a friend of my mother, and she has had nothing but a great experience using it. No dropped signals at all, connection stays nice and steady at all times. Excellent price for the value as well.

cheap price but reliable im using router to bridge from another router in house about 75 ft away to outside man cave works perfectly for my needs..
