Contains twelve 8" x 12" sheets of sunprint paper and a Plexiglas overlay. This Plexiglas overlay helps press objects such as leaves flat in contact with the paper to insure a good print. Developed by educators at the Lawrence Hall of Science, Sunprints encourage an interest in the photographic process using only sun, water, and a bit of imagination. Place a fern, flower, or other object on the special paper and set it in the sun briefly. Then rinse the paper in water and watch as a beautiful long-lasting image appears.

The paper could be thicker.
My only problem with the paper is that it is too thin. After frying it doesn’t lay flat and is a bit crinkled up. It is good for children to use, but not for someone who wants to use it for artistic purposes.

Easy, fun, and beautiful!
Fun project to do with my 5 year old granddaughter. The directions are simple to follow and the prints are frame worthy!

Fun to use and create
Years ago when I was getting into photography, I experimented with cyanotypes or sun prints. Now as a grandfather I am sure the grandkids will have even more fun. I was delighted to see the product is still available and should make great Christmas gifts.
