Will save the day
I've made a decent amount of $$ from using this thing. I'm a plumber and people drop stuff down drains. I've been able to run drain cameras in tandem with this to recover items from impossible locations. The photos I've attached are from my most recent grab. Someone broke a plug which fell into the sewer about 7 feet. This caused a blockage and a flood. The first plumber told the customer that they would have to cut the floor open and remove the item. The quote was for approximately $7000. That customer called me and I was able to remove it within an hour for $450Bottom line it works. It's definitely cheap and flimsy. That's why I bought a few of them. This was the longest one I could find.

This definitely works!! I accidentally let a wash cloth go down the drain!!! Ahhh and was like oh no thinking I’m gonna have to spend an arm and leg to get it out but this little thing i purchased helped me so much !! It came out in two try’s definitely worth having it on hand !

Useless
Simply doesn't work. I purchased a very similar item that just includes a bent piece of pipe to help twist the snake. Without the ability to twist this thing is useless. Also, after just one attempt down the drain, the grabber stopped working - I didn't do well around a 90 deg. curve in the pipe. I ended up using wire cutters to cut off the grabber and then just threw the thing away and bought one that works.

Did what I needed it to
This is a little tough to use if you do not have good grip strength, but if you do it works great. My son dropped his phone between two walls and the crack was very narrow. We gave this a try and he was able to retrieve it! The spring broke shortly after so between that and the difficulty of pushing the spring in I gave it less stars. It was definitely worth the purchase though since it did what we needed it to before breaking.

Excellent purchase!
I ordered this to unclog my bathroom sink, my son did the work at first he was having a hard time unclogging all the yuck from the pipe drain but I ordered this because I knew he would needed😉 he was amazed at how well it worked, pulled out hair that was clogging our sink, mind you he had to go under the sink to unclog the drain pipes and this was just perfect. Have no regrets making this purchase.

Don't buy
I've been using this thing for a while now, and I hate it. I get reminded of how useless it is the few times I use it. The handle is hard to pull so that the end opens up then you have to fight with it so that the end closes back. A waste of money. I wish I could return it now or get my money back. This thing is useless, ineffective, and inefficient.

Saved me hundreds 💵
I’ve had a slow drain forever. It started to be a problem when housekeeper wasn’t able to clean my shower. I used this tool to yank out a bunch of my hair! I had no idea how much hair was in the drain.Very easy to use and totally worth the investment!

Worked for me
Took many attempts but I got my toilet unclogged. One of my kids flushed down a black plastic cap and it was causing problems for weeks. Didnt know what it was but kept hearing this strange sound when I flushed.I kept pushing it down my toilet drain until it made the sound. Noted the point on the wire it made that sound and kept pushing the claw out around there. It finally caught and I pulled it out with great satisfaction.

Doesn’t fit into sink-drain
The claw part is too big to fit in any of my sink-drains

It’s pretty to look at it, the end
I have a very small hole that requires a long and deep trench

The Claw doesn't come out
Even Inspector Gadget couldn't make it work.
