These are the best disposable paper place mats I've ever purchased or have used. I buy them for under my pet food bowls and for use under my customer's pet food bowls when I'm cat sitting. These are beautiful but more importantly, large, durable, water absorbent, and prevent wet food stains on carpet. There are - I can't even remember because 1 lasts so long- many in a package. I will buy these again and also in different patterns. They arrived extremely well packed and protected. They are easy to remove 1 at a time from their protective bag which remains, so far, in perfect condition even though it's exposed (not stored in a drawer). Over a 15 + year time span I have tried so so many paper mats and this Brand is, by far, of the best quality. If they work for pet care they will absolutely serve their purpose for human meals. Great product to use outdoors for nice table setting and I also use them to put down under dog bowls to cover my hardwood floors.

The colors and artwork of these placemats are very nice and they are a good price. If they don't get spilled on, you can use them again ... but they are paper and cannot be cleaned.

I used two types of placemats. I absolutely loved the floral placemats and detested the other ones.The placemats were durable and fit well into my rustic theme.
