Solid Brass Civil War US Army Puppy Paw Belt Buckle

After wearing about a dozen times the front exterior (which is a separate piece of thin stamped metal) became detached - will try to epoxy the face back on - overall looks good from the front but poor quality.

does not fit a standard belt 2 flymsy hooks to try and make fit. should of been a standard bar to atatch buckle to belt.i was verry disapointed

This buckle is beautiful and very good quality, especially for the price, but we can't figure out how to attach it. There are three prongs on the back that don't fit any of my husband's belts. I got this for him as a gift, but unfortunately, he hasn't been able to wear it.

The quality of this buckle is great. The hardware on the back is unusual (2 sharp prongs and one traditional buckle notch) and we had a hard time finding a belt to go with it. We had to take a regular leather belt to a leather shop to have custom holes punched in the belt.

Junk pot metal. Not brass at all

The construction of this buckle is something that you need tools to install it to a leather belt. Not sure that this was clear on the description of it.

Hate it! Advertised as “solid brass” not true. Stamped “ made in India “ on the back. I guess solid has a different meaning in India!
