UD Moondust Palette

This eyeshadow palette of 8 moondust colors is very pretty. Each color is packed with iridescent glitter and every swipe on the lid leads to a mini cascade of fine micro glitter particles under and around the eye. The colors are attractive and full of glowing, light-reflecting shimmer. But the amount of glitter is just way too much. It gets everywhere!! After applying the shadow, I can see fine glitter particles in my eyelashes and across my cheeks. Even after washing my face thoroughly, I found glitter particles on my forehead, in my hair, on my hands, arms and clothes, and I didn't even apply much to begin with! There's simply WAY too much eyeshadow fallout here. If you want shimmering glitter everywhere, go for it. This is just overkill for me. Glittery overkill.

This palette is most def a knock off. It comes off skin a lot easier than the one I know to be an original that I purchased at ulta. This being said... UD has discontinued the moon dust palette and this seems to be a good alternative. I’m hoping with primer and setting spray it will stay all day. The colors seem to be slightly off but not bad. I will update this review once I’ve worn it for a day to see how it holds up. The picture of the light year swatch.. the top is this palette and the bottom is the one I purchased from ulta. The picture of the two palettes... the full one is this product and the one that’s been heavily used is the one I purchased from ulta. The only reason I am giving this as many stars as I did, is because UD no longer makes the palette so options are limited if you really loved this palette.UPDATE: wore the purple and galaxy yesterday. I used the UD eyeshadow primer and also the all nighter spray and it stayed as good or even better than my other palette I know is the real thing. I’m going to change my review to 4 stars.Just to note on the swatches the top one is this palette and the bottom one is my original palette purchased from Ulta. I may have mentioned that but I’m too lazy to scroll up and look.

Fabulous colors with glitter! I have been using urban decay eyeshadow for many years it's my favorite because of the ability to build the color u can make the shadow darer or lighter depending on mood or occasion, and they are highly pigmented. These did not disappoint I didn't use primer but the color and glitter was even in distribution still with the same great buildability. The color was long lasting as well. I love it!!!

I love this so set so much! Even the compact itself is a glittery silver on the outside and says “ Moondust” in lettering made out of mirrors. The shadow looks very pretty on and it’s not that tacky thick glitter either that hurts like hell if you get it in your eye. When you use each color, its best to mix them with another shade because the colors are very intense. Unless of course, you’re wearing something that matches the eyeshadow. Very happy!!! Worth it!!!

Cruelty free is very important to me although I know that this is not a deal breaker for some. I really liked this palette, but then I found out that their parent company is L'Oreal who is well known for their animal testing. I am greatly disappointed and will not buy anymore Urban Decay products and will stick to other products that are genuinely cruelty free

Could be wrong about this but this does not apply as nice or easily as the other urban decay palettes like the naked or naked 3. Just save your money and get it at Sephora for the authentic genuine product.

This palette was not a fake, it's the real deal at half the price I saw it for originally. Be ready for some glitter though, because you're going to glow. Your eyes, your cheeks, your hair, your everywhere. Very pretty vibrant colors. Well worth the money.

SO SPARKLY!!!!! great pigment, dont have to lather it on to set the color you want and it stays on your face, not on the shirt of the last person you hugged,lol. UrbanDecay does it again, keep it real!
