Hodder Children's Books Famous Five Colour Short Stories: Happy Christmas, Five!

Great for small children and it is a hit with the kids at vet clinic.

My 10 year old absolutely loves these books. They're more modern looking than the originals and the stories are shorter and simpler so they're a great confidence builder for children who are making the transition from little kids books to 'proper books'. They seem expensive for what they are because the print is quite large and there's not a lot of pages but my son reads them over and over again so he gets good value from them. I'm not a fan of modern childrens literature so I'm thrilled he is enjoying these innocent classics.

Loved how quickly it arrived. But, it seemed like a used book - perhaps a previously returned item. There were crease marks as well as some slight indentation marks on the cover. This "festive" copy was supposed to have a nice shiny finish... but the one that came in didn't...

What a brilliant idea bought the whole series it's helped my son with his reading, he is an adult with special needs and loves famous five it was lovely to see how interactive he was with it!

Loved this book as a child and had to buy it for my eldest son (7) who is also cat mad and he has not put it down since it arrived.
