Great value for the money
Nice piece of kit. Had an issue with sound until I realised the reverb was set to maximum. After that it worked really well

No UK plug.
Downside to this little mixer is that it does not come with a UK power supply. I ordered this as a quick emergency back up for IEM's due to an accident with one of our digital mixing tablets and it totally failed in its purpose as a result. It comes with a european plug that is no use in the UK even with a travel adapter. You need an AC to DC 5 Volt power adapter with USB C connection which is an additional cost.I was going to return it but have now purchased a power adapter seperately and the mixer to be fair, despite the provision of a useable power supply does what it says on the tin. Does feel low quality though and not as rugged as expected from the description.It will serve a purpose as a back up for emergencies, but that is about its limits and would not last long in a touring set up.For a basic home studio set up or a mobile recording such as podcast etc it will do just fine.If you are looking for something simple and low cost for a basic application, this should do the job as long as you get a seperate power adapter.

Built like a toy tank…maybe?
So, where to begin? It says on the box that it’s built like a tank… like one of those plastic toy tanks for a child to play with. Maybe. I’m actually not sure it’s even that robust. Sound quality is acceptable and to be honest I knew what I was buying, I wasn’t expecting a Mackie for this price. If you are going to use this on more than a couple of occasions a year, even if you’re using it on your desk, maybe save for something more robust. This was bought as a last minute panic, and chosen by delivery date rather than price or quality and it has done its job ok. But build quality is comical and the ‘professional’ tag has us laughing every time.
