I’m so glad I ordered these! They have a pretty design! The bags have this protected topcoat that will protect them from the weather. They also come with extra batteries! Easy setup and zero messes! They are also so much brighter and prettier then the original home made ones! I also don’t have to worry about any fires lol. Tea lights twinkle like real candles! 100% satisfied!

It took me 2 hours to put the sand in the bottom along with the tealights and then place them along the edge my property. The lights came as part of the kit, but I had to buy the sand at the local hardware store. I lit them up on Christmas Eve, as is traditional in Mexico, and common here in Arizona. I then left the tealights turned on until January 4, when I put them away until next year. All of the tealights were still working after 12 days!!! I did not know the lights had a timer function until I saw the question in this review form. If it was described in the package, I missed it, so my "luminaria" were lit up 24 hours@day.

Our neighborhood does a yearly Christmas lights display. These bags survived a rain storm and kept the shape and the candles never went out.

Bags were thin and tore easily during setup. Once filled with some sand in and tea lights lit they provided a warm glow.

The bags were "treated" so that they wouldn't break down in damp weather. I took my luminarias down after 24 hours ant the lighta were just as bright.

I am so pleased with this purchase. The luminaria bags are beautiful and sturdy, perfect for outdoor use. The order comes with the battery operated tea lights and with lots of extra batteries, although none needed so far but a very nice addition to the order. I expect I will purchase again for future holidays. The luminaria make great gifts too.

Got a lot with extra batteries and that alone makes it worth it. Light themselves are not overly bright but they stayed lit a long time and I was able to remove batteries to use next year too

These are cute, but the bags are white, unlike the traditional brown bags pictured
