This ice maker has been doing great so far. This is the quietest nugget ice maker I have used. Note that I strickly use bottled drinking water with TDS < 10 ppm. My filtered tap water was still over 500 and caused other machines to grind loudly. If your nugget ice maker grinds loudly, try bottled water. I didn’t think I would like the less insulated ice basket but it’s large water tank and ice bin more than over compensate for any melting ice. The associated app is easy to use and setup scheduled ice making. I like that I can just schedule it to just turn off without having a full on/off schedule. This is great if someone turns it on manually and forgets to turn it off. Connecting the app to Alexa was a little more difficult but if you know what you’re doing it’s not so bad. It just took me longer than it should have. I haven’t had it long enough to tell you about the cleaning process. But the main tank is removable making the rest of the unit lighter for transport to the sink for internal draining. The shallow tray under the tank will have water in it. Maybe there is a way to place and remove the tank more quickly to minimize leaking. If water is in the tray, it makes moving the ice maker more difficult without spilling. I end up using some paper towels to remove some of it if the tray water level is too high. The tray and ice maker have separate drain plugs. Both drain plugs are still on the bottom with this design. I would prefer them on the back with the ability to connect drain hoses with shut off valves. Although Silonn claims great customer service, I have not had any experience with them to confirm. I just hope I have a better experience with Silonn. The previous non-Silonn brand mysteriously stopped working after less than a year and that other brand wouldn’t help me because I bought from Amazon and not directly from the manufacturer. Therefore, I switched to Silonn hoping for a better experience. Time will tell. Overall this ice maker is a good value, runs quiet, has high volume and fast production, connects to your smart home for voice or app control. You can stop looking - This is the one!

The removable reservoir and ice bucket is a game changer. I have owed two nugget ice makers that did not have this. No matter how well you think your water filter system is it contains minerals that will eventually internal clog the machine and it will die a slow death. I use distilled water in this machine and it's been a month without any issues. It does have nice notification to clean unit. I recommend cleaning solution designed for ice makers when you clean. Only bad I have about this ice maker and like the two other models from different manufacturers instruments have used is; that the "water" fall (reference photo) of ice for lack of a better term causes machine to auto turn off when ice bucket is not full but rather approximately half full. It's an easy fixed to knock the water fall down and machine auto starts to complete the bucket fill.

This icemaker works perfectly. It keeps ice full as long as you keep water in the system. It doesn’t take a long time for her to make the ice. We have noticed new leakage and there is a pretty good price point. It’s very easy to use. All you gotta do is fill in the water and the machine does the work. My wife loves this ice machine. She uses it all day every day.

Silonn Nugget Ice Maker Countertop with App & Voice Control, 44 lbs, is AMAZING. I have seen some negative Silonn reviews from other customers, but I can only speak to the Nugget Ice Maker Countertop with App & Voice Control. My experience has been with one other ice machine (not Silonn), and it was the bullet style, which was the worst to clean. A few of the negative reviews remind me of my past bullet ice machine. The CLEANING process should be the only topic (grading scale) to use when comparing other ice machines. I knew the next ice machine I wanted had to be easy to clean, and I was looking at the GoveeLife Smart Nugget Ice Maker Pro, but the price was high, and I was not convinced about the cleaning process. My wife found the Silonn Nugget Ice Maker Countertop with App & Voice, and the cleaning looked so much better. I have had it for about 5 months, and I clean it every 2.5 weeks; it is so easy and, more importantly, it's thoroughly cleaned. Since it is easy to clean, you end up cleaning it more often. The entire water tank is detachable, and I can easily clean the inside. In the past, with the Bullet Ice machine, I would have to put the entire machine in the sink to clean the water reservoir. I can clean 85% of everything the water touches on the Silonn Nugget Ice Maker. The smart app is good; it could be better if it integrated with Google Home, but the on/off schedule is nice and something I cannot live without now.

This unit is a very poor design. The tank does not properly fit against the unit and the unit will pour out water flooding the area around it when it goes into self clean mode. This happens every few days. Upon close examination, It is evident that this flaw is not correctable. The construction of the product itself is the problem. The ice maker is unusable unless you want to put it in the sink to operate, I contacted the Silonn, but received no help other than to unplug, allow time to cool down and to refill the tank and start it up again. At that time it shoots out more water. Unfortunately, this flaw was not detected until it was too late to return to Amazon. Other than this problem, the product operated quietly and efficiently. The ice is "wet" and melts quickly. I'm very disappointed it the results of this purchase. I am only giving it one star because I can't post my review with no stars. This purchase ended up being worthless. The customer service was lacking (I was given a scripted answer and disconnected). I highly recommend you shop around for a better product and a reliable company.

Makes great ice but it's a pain in the ass to put water in. I can't believe the designers didn't put a water fill tube in the basket so you don't have to take the ice out to refill the water. Other than that, it's a great icemaker!

We had the GE ice maker, we went through a couple of them and finally got one that worked good. The gear box quit working so we wanted to try this one, it’s way cheaper and works awesome, makes ice a lot faster too.

I deliberately bought expensive ice maker to assure I get quality. It arrived, I opened it. Not working! No ice but water. From second it was on. Too expensive for such a disappointment. Please replace.

Vor Inbetriebnahme soll man das Gerät gerade/waagerecht aufstellen und 24h ruhen lassen. Ganz klar, das ist die selbe Regel wie bei jedem Gerät mit Kältekompressor auch. Eine Maschine die aus flüssigem Wasser Eiswürfel produziert. Aus einem Tank wird Wasser in ein kleines Becken gepumpt. In das Becken werden 9 kleine Röhrchen getaucht, welche auf unter 0ºC heruntergekühlt werden. Es bildet sich um die Röhrchen Eis ❄️ Nach einer bestimmten Zeit wird das Wasser aus dem kleinen Becken abgekippt und das Eis ❄️, welches sich um die Röhrchen gebildet hat, abgestoßen. Ein Mechanismus befördert die Eiswürfel in einen Auffangkorb. Das Gerät erzeugt dabei, ab und zu ein gluckerndes Geräusch, das kommt immer dann wenn das Wasser aus dem Tank in den kleinen Behälter gepumpt wird oder es abgelassen wird wenn die Eiswürfel fertig sind. Weiterhin summt ein Lüfter permanent und es brummt ein Kompressor (das Kühlaggregat). Ich würde aber nicht sagen, dass das Gerät übertrieben laut ist. Das sind eben für den Preis und die Größe ganz normale Geräusche. Daneben schlafen würde ich allerdings nicht wollen. Steht das Gerät im Nachbarraum nehme ich es nicht mehr störend wahr. Das Gerät besitzt eine Reinigungsfunktion. Diese besteht darin das Wasser aus dem Tank in den Behälter zu pumpen, wieder abzulassen und diesen Vorgang dauerhaft für eine halbe Stunde zu wiederholen. Ich gebe dazu etwas Zitronensäure. Trotzdem sollte man das Gerät auch ab und zu mal auswischen. Aber das beschreibt die Bedienungsanleitung wirklich Recht ordentlich. Nach der Reinigung sollte man das Gerät nicht umkippen um das Wasser abzulassen sondern man soll den Ablauf an der Unterseite verwenden. Kippt man das Gerät um, muss man erneut 24h warten sonst würde der Kompressor möglicherweise Schaden nehmen. Ansonsten ist die Bedienung quasi selbsterklärend. Wasser auffüllen. Einschalten und die Größe der Eiswürfel wählen und dann nur noch warten. Bei mir kamen die ersten Würfel nach bereits 5 Minuten bei 21º Raumtemperatur und ca. 8º kaltem Leitungswasser. Die ersten Würfel waren eher dünn und klein, aber das änderte sich über die nächsten Runden. Insgesamt sind die Eiswürfel (eigentlich sind es ja keine Würfel sondern eher kleine Zipfelmützen oder Hütchen) natürlich kleiner als aus dem Eisfach und man braucht entsprechend etwas mehr im Glas. Aber die Produktion ist kontinuierlich und mit 6 Gästen war ein Abend mit Aperol Spritz angenehm zu gestalten. Alles in allem bekommt man sehr sehr viel für so relavtitwenig Geld. Ein dicker Daumen hoch für diese Maschine! 👍🥂
