One of the best smart phone O.B.D scaner ever!!

Very quick and helpful customer support. As my habit immediately after unpacking I through package to trash. Later when try to use device it was asking for activation code. In same time I ask xtools amazon support, contact emails from xtools website and provided model + serial number of device. In a few hour they all replied with activation code. And even after a month they checking if I have any issue or need help in use of device. Device it self is the best.

I bought the A30M a couple years ago to help diagnose check engine lights on my older vehicles. This week it ended up saving me from guessing and just throwing parts at a check engine light. I had a check engine light on for an evap leak so with the two way communication I was able to activate the EVAP vent control valve on and off, confirm the solenoid was working, and then use a smoke machine to determine that the valve had mechanically failed. After replacing it, I cleared the codes and verified everything with the scanner. The app takes a little time to learn, but once I got familiar with it, it was easy to read codes, clear them, check live data, and monitor emissions readiness. The software is always up to date with free updates which is worth a lot to me. I actually had to reach out to support for an issue connecting and they helped me get it sorted. For a certified YouTube mechanic like myself, it offers a lot without the cost of a big time professional scan tool.
