Great for protecting sourdough from ants
This 40 cup set is great! I got it for sourdough bread instead of using a zip lock and/or refrigerator storage (due to an ant issue in my new place). They say BPA free, freezer/refrigerator, top rack dishwasher, and microwaveable safe. I won't use in microwave and certainly wouldn't with acidic foods like tomato sauce ( if microwaving plastic is your thing) I included some pictures one is with two homemade sourdough loaves for my mom ( the store hasn't had bread or T.P) the recipe is from the clever carrot blog. This fits 2 loaves which are both about 1.8 lbs. In one picture I put a 12 count egg carton to show the size. It would fit 3 cartons on their side ( don't recomend storing eggs any other way than pointy side down though) but not 2 stacked on top of each other. The other shows some random stuff: hotdog/hamburger buns, burrito tortillas, bread. You could probably fit a whole watermelon cut into wedges in this thing! If you have a garden and lots of loose greens this would be way better than a bag. I don't really notice an extreme taper on the bottom as some people said but it does taper inward at the bottom. This thing is so big it doesn't make much diffrence to me. Its just what I needed as a bread box wouldn't stop the ants and neither would the microwave and there is still room for the bread to breath.

Perfect for Making Salads for a Week
We bought two of these bins to use for pre-making salads for our lunches during the week. It works well.

There were two!
I did not read closely-was expecting one, but they come in a two pack. Only needed one for marinating meat, so gave the other one to my niece.

Terrifically HUGE!
Terrifically HUGE! I was pleasantly surprised- my fault as dimensions were clear. I have always needed them for storing multiple homemade bread loaves, large roasted poultry, summer salads, you name it! Now my covered mixing bowls can remain available instead of housing watermelon in the 'fridge. Great for transporting food for (future) get-togethers 😉 There are TWO! Can't get any better!

Got these to soak my broken wrist/post sugery in, for Hot/Cold soak.
After searching for something in my house to soak my broken wrist in, couldn't find anything that worked. I ordered these and they worked out fine. I was able to put them on my counter top, and use, instead of a pail, where I had to allow my wrist and hand to hang down, which caused more swelling. Now I have two large containers if I ever need them. Not sure what I will use them for, as I don't bake like I did in my younger years, but they will come in useful for something. Will work well for foot soaking also, if anyone would need something like that. Us older people have to be inventive! :)

Exactly what I wanted but...
These are perfect for storage of smaller bathroom items like toiletries, medications, and/or use in the kitchen. However, the labels do not come off easily and I dislike having torn shreds of label all over the containers. I much prefer a clean look so the manufacturer should use labels that remove easily without residue. I'm ruining my nails picking/pealing off the residue of shredded label.

STICKERS!!!!!!!!
Not one, not two, but THREE stickers are securely glued to the sides of each container!!! They are extremely difficult to remove completely. The final result is that you are left with new containers that look like they have been in use for years. I have no complaints about the containers themselves, but good God Rubbermaid, if you must use stickers, please start using REMOVABLE stickers.

as expected
There are three labels on these containers, none of which peel off without leaving residue. The container itself is easy to clean but please update your labels. Can't comment on durability because i've only had it a week. My last ones lasted years. Dry dog food doesn't leak :)
